Imster Schlucht: White-Water Rafting in the Tyrolean Alps

2. Imster Schlucht: White-Water Rafting in the Tyrolean Alps

Meet the group at the outdoor center and grab your high-quality rafting equipment. You will then take a transfer service to the starting point in Imst. The tour takes about 2.5-3.5 hours and covers approximately 14 kilometers. If it's your first time rafting, don't worry. Pick the beginner's option and your experienced guide will show you the ropes. You can also pick the family option to have a fun group activity with your kids. After the tour, try some delicious Tyrolean dishes at the outdoor center and join the team for a celebratory drink.

Ötztal: Advanced Rafting on Ötztaler Ache

3. Ötztal: Advanced Rafting on Ötztaler Ache

Join an advanced rafting tour that will take you through the heart of the scenic Tyrolean Alps. Your guides have waterproof cameras that will allow them to capture the experience. Work together with your team to conquer the rapids and afterward enjoy a toast before heading back to the base camp. Begin with a welcome and introduction to the modern white water rafting equipment before you transfer to the start of the rafting route. After a detailed safety talk, your adventure will commence.  Make your way through the high waves near the Piburger Bridge, the narrow passages of the forest gorge, further past the Sautner Roller, and up to the Weir Plant, where can take a well-deserved break. Next up is a key part of the route, the Boa Constructa. In order to get through this section, the whole team will need to do their part. Everyone will realize what the expression "we are all in the same boat" truly means. Once this section of the river is mastered, you'll have conquered Ötzaler Ache as a group. From here on swimming and jumping into the water is allowed again. Make a toast to your efforts at the end before you transfer back to the base camp. Once there, hot showers, changing rooms, and an outdoor swimming pool are all free for you to use.

Unforgettable tour! I would recommend everyone to book this tour. She has been the highlight of our trip so far. Special thanks to our tour guides - most of all to Milena. She was the best of them all. The tour was exciting, funny, there was a great atmosphere, it was varied, informative and I felt safe at all times. We also had a lot of fun in the group. I was unsure when booking because I read that it wasn't that adventurous. I can only disagree. Of course, the tour always depends on the water level - but the guides can't do anything about that. I would book them again every year. THANK YOU for this great day!

For me it was the first rafting tour, I can only recommend it. Kudos to Benny, it was really fun working with you. But the other guides are also great.

Beautiful experience, quite adventurous but still suitable for beginners. Also very nice swimming in the river and helpful and friendly guides.

The staff was very nice and everything was well organized and we had a lot of fun!
