Full description

Experience the highlights of Egyptian Museum with skip-the-line tickets and a private licensed tourist guide. Explore the permanent exhibition on a chronological journey through the history and culture of ancient Egypt.

The museum’s collection of Turin Egyptian antiques is one of the largest in the world, with more than 46,000 works, artifacts, and other treasures, of which only 6,500 are on permanent display. In addition, its influx of visitors has been steadily increasing from year to year, making it one of the most visited museums in Italy.

The current collection of the Egyptian Museum of Turin is installed in the Accademia delle Scienze, where temperatures remain between 21ºC and 24ºC throughout the year to preserve the displayed relics.

See artifacts from the predynastic period, the Tomb of the Unknown, the Tomb of Iti and Neferu, and the Middle and New Kingdoms. Admire the Tomb of Kha, the Coffin Gallery, the Restoration Area, Late Period, Ptolemaic Period, Roman Period, and Late Antiquity.

Of course, a tour would not be complete without a visit to the Gallery of Kings, the Temple of Ellesiya, and the Nubian Room.

As a lover of ancient culture and Egyptian civilization it is definitely an experience that I recommend. The museum has been reorganized since my last visit, with an even richer and more detailed collection and a very spectacular final hall. The guide took us through the museum, explaining the artifacts and telling us very interesting anecdotes. The experience lasted a little more than the planned two hours, a fantastic experience.

The assigned Guide proved to be a cultured and likeable gentleman who was able to illustrate, without exceeding but without neglecting anything, the stupendous content of the Egyptian Muse. Only the overcrowding made the journey sometimes tiring, it was a Friday, perhaps it is advisable to choose a day away from the weekend.
