1. Danube Delta Day Trip from Tulcea
Reconnect with nature on a day trip from Tulcea and marvel at the flora and fauna of the Danube Delta, the best-preserved delta in Europe. Make your way to the Gârla Şontea stream, and then travel by boat through Channel 36 to stop at the village of Mila 23, almost completely surrounded by water. Visit the Lotca Museum opened by the Olympic sportsman, Ivan Patzaichin who was born in the village in 1949. Continue to Letea through the lakes of Radacinos, Trei Iezere, and Bogdaproste, and enter the Old Danube through the Madgearu Canal. Arrive in the village of Letea, where you will travel through the Letea Forest by jeep.
