The tour was quite varied, beginning with a visit to the Tsukiji Honganii Temple, before entering the outer fish market for a in depth tour where we sampled Japanese omelet, fish cake, fresh tuna and strawberries, as well as other interesting and oishi foods. The tour concluded with a generous serving of sushi, miso, sake and green tea. All the while, our tour guide Tak explained everything clearly and thoroughly, often stopping to identify foods for sale and some of the history behind their use. We would recommend this tour to others.

The tour was very informative. We learned about the history of the area, the market, and Japanese culture. The tour included optional tastings of local treats we wouldn’t have known or tried on our own. We feel like we got a lot more out of the tour that if we had done the market on our own.

Thank you very much dear Tomo for this great experience at the Tsukiji market. We learned a lot during the walk through the market and were able to try different dishes. It was a lot of fun and our tour guide Tomo was amazing. Tanja & Markus

Yuko was so delightful, informative, and welcoming. She made the fact that it was snowing and raining a bonus rather than a hindrance. 10/10 everyone should be so lucky to get a tour with Yuko!

Excellent guide, and so nice to get different food, vegetables and all the dried food explained. Very good tastings during the tour. Learned a lot.
