Full description
Begin by being picked up from your accommodation in the city center or the tour meeting point. From there, your guide provides you with information about the weather, the lights' activity, your chances for the evening, and expectations to see the lights on that particular night. From there you are taken to a location most suited to the evening's conditions. Groups are sometimes required to travel deep into Finland in order to find a good spot, so remember to take your passport with you. Once you have reached your chosen location, your guides set up a bonfire before helping you with your camera, setting it up to best capture the Northern lights. Throughout your tour, your guides also serve you hot chocolate and snacks. Later, enjoy a picnic-style barbecue during which you enjoy traditional Norwegian fiskekake (fish burgers), or sausages with tortilla bread. Make the most of this opportunity and take unlimited pictures throughout your tour, with the Northern Lights in the background. If you don't manage to take that perfect shot, high-resolution pictures of the tour will be shared with you the following day. Your guides are also on hand to explain the phenomenon of the Northern Lights as well as some of the traditions, beliefs, and superstitions connected to them. Following your tour, your experience concludes as your guide drops you off to your accommodation close to the city center of Tromsø.

I did the tour at Mansoor twice. He's an absolutely likeable guy. If you need help with the camera settings, you will definitely get professional help. His own pictures look great too. He speaks German very well and talking to him is just exciting. We spotted northern lights on both tours. Once we went to Kvaløya and the second time to the Finnish border. The campfire and the food was great too. Would do it again.

Great tour. Even though the weather was bad, our guide Mansoor took us to the auroras. Before the tour, he offered to step back from the tour to anyone who didn't want to dare to take part in the bad weather. But we were all brave and we were successful on Sommaroy. The warehouse management was also very nice. Thermal suits were sufficiently available. Toĺle tour with lots of photos for the fellow travelers.

I did the activity in October 2021. The guide was very knowledgeable and kind, she made sure that every participant was comfortable and in the best conditions to enjoy the experience. He knew exactly where to go and we got the goal, several photos were taken of us and the phenomenology of the aurora was explained to us. Going in a group obviously has its cons, not all participants can be in the same mood, but this obviously does not depend on the tour operator. However, for those interested it is also an opportunity to meet new people. Recommended
