Fantastic experience start to finish. We did a private tour for the 6 of us - friends celebrating a birthday. Francisco was very prompt and thorough explaining the probability of seeing the lights based on the weather - and explaining the science behind it. Jose was our guide and very smart, helpful and outgoing. They provided us with warm suits on top of our clothes; and tea, coffee and muffins as snacks. They had music playing under the lights and took a lot of professional photos for us. We were able to see the lights and get some great photos, laying in the snow taking it all in. We also went to a second spot for a better chance to see them a bit stronger. Jose was very open to our preferences and accommodating. I highly recommend booking this tour!

We had an amazing time with Francisco of Green Gold of Norway. We appreciated his honestly about notifying us that there was going to be no chance of seeing the northern lights that evening and asked if we wanted to rebook; which we did. We rebooked for 2 nights later and the northern lights danced in the sky for 2 hours. Francisco offered to take pictures of our group and sent us those pictures and more before we woke up the next morning. This was a once in a lifetime experience and we highly recommend Francisco and Green Gold of Norway to make your experience unforgettable.

Francisco, our guide who had 12 years of experience chasing and photographing the Northern Lights, was amazing! He was always energetic and cheerful, which was great in the cold nights. The tour started with an explanation of how Northern Lights tracking and chasing works, as well as setting realistic expectations. (For your reference, the lights you most likely see will be faint streaks of white light in the sky, which turn into green colors through long exposure photos.) Note that while the tour is private (i.e. you get your own guide and minivan), the tour still starts with other customers who booked any kind of Northern Lights chase tour at the same time. Moreover, the locations you go to will also be shared with them. We were initially worried about this aspect when we had to wait for others, but ended up having a great experience nevertheless! Francisco also took wonderful photos that he edited and shared with us for free the same night.
