Full description

Mush your own husky team on this unique dog sledding tour from Tromsø. Try something new and be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Arctic wilderness. Enjoy a convenient pick-up from the city center of Tromsø and head out to the wilderness center at Camp Tamok. Put on some warm winter clothing, meet the dogs, and learn how to drive the sled. Pair up with another person and share a dog team. Take turns driving the team while the other sits back and enjoys the scenery. Eat a hot meal in a traditional Norwegian setting at the end of your 90-minute dogsled adventure. Relax and warm up around an open fire in a reindeer herder's tent before heading back to the city.

A truly wonderful day dog-sledding. Great organisation from beginning to end with fantastic, friendly staff. The camp was stunning, super clean with a lovely atmosphere. Sledding was such a brilliant experience with the most breathtaking scenery. The dogs loved to run! They were very well cared for and were so friendly. We were able to spend as long as we liked with them at the end of the sledding. Our lunch was a delicious, traditional lamb stew served with their special bread and hot drinks. We were seated in a teepee with a warm fire. A huge thank you to all the staff but a special mention to Lisa, my sledding partner and Myla for making my daughters 21st birthday so special! I cannot recommend this activity highly enough.

This was a great experience! It is easy to drive and does not require a lot of physical effort. Just a little more if you have to go up a hill, for example, then you have to help the dogs go up by running and pushing. This is really worth for money!

Fantastic experience! Guides, hosts and driver very friendly. One arrived at the camp they have plenty of thermics suits and boots for you to enjoy the journey without feeling a bit of cold(also because riding make you warm!!) Nice hot drinks and a fish soup served after the sledding in a heated tent. And take a little of time to cuddle the dogs that are super friendly and amazing
