Full description
Maximise your chances of seeing the Northern Lights on this exciting trip combining a Northern Lights and a visit to an Aurora Camp. With 10 years’ of experience in Northern Lights tourism, the focus is on quality, comfort and ensuring guests have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Set off by bus from Tromsø to chase the Northern Lights. Where you head depends on the Aurora and weather forecasts. Your experienced guides will find the best photo stop with excellent conditions and a scenic backdrop. Your guides are also professional photographers and will help you with your camera settings so you can take your own photos. After 2 or more hours, drive to one of the exclusive Aurora Camps. The three camps, located in the Tomok Valley, Lyngen and Kvaløya, each have 2 comfortable lavvus (Sami tents) and toilet facilities. Divide into two smaller groups with a maximum of 20 guests per group, each with your own lavvu and English-speaking guide. The decision of which camp to go to will be left as late as possible so the guides can see where the Northern Lights are dancing. Warm stew with flatbread and either fishcakes or sausages will be served. Warm winter clothes and tripods are also available. Of course, guaranteed sightings of the Northern Lights cannot be assured as they are a natural phenomenon, but your guides promise to use all their experience to maximize your chances of a successful chase. Please note the maximum group size of 40 persons (20 per lavvo).

i have nothing else to say about our guides Iris & Ronan because they've done such perfect job. they are funny and very knowledgable. provided detailed yet easily understandable explanation about the northern light. the bus ride was pleasant, the tent and fire definitely are the saviour in the unforgiving winter nights. the food provided are very tasty too. it is unfortunate that we were less lucky that night because the northern light was very faint and it only show for like 2 minutes but the whole trip was so awesome and enjoyable I have decided to book another trip with them

Our guides were extremely helpful, making sure our cameras were set up correctly, keeping us warm whilst watching for the lights, with hot drinks and soup. The photos the guides took of us were ready to download as soon as we stepped off the coach on our return. Added bonus being able to use the toilet on the coach. Driver first class.

The tour was good as we managed to get a glimpse of the northern lights (not very strong). Our guide was Kevin who was extremely knowledgeable and was keen to let us explore through the night in search of the northern light. The midnight soup was a good refresher to allow us to continue on our search of the northern light.
