Full description
Discover Diocletian's palace, which is now the heart of Split's inner city, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the well-preserved cellars of Diocletian's Palace-the architectural purpose was to raise the imperial residential area to the upper floor and then walk up the stairs to Peristil. Peristil was meant to be used by the Diocletian and the cult of the living son of Jupiter. Admire the Cathedral of St Duje (St Duje is the patron saint of Split), which is Diocletian's mausoleum and is said to be the oldest Cathedral in the world. In the people's square Pjaca, you can experience both the Middle Ages and Modern life. You can shop and rest in one of the cafes situated on the beautiful waterfront. Trogir's historical core is a one-of-a-kind cultural monument on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Walk through Trogir's charming streets, the town of happy moments, the town of Kairos with your professional guide. Before entering Trogir's main attraction, stop in front of the Cathedral St. Lawrence and take a deep breath. The Cathedral, along with its Romanesque portal designed by local artist Radovan, is regarded as one of Croatia's finest architectural works.
