1. From Split & Trogir: Krka Waterfalls Day Tour with Boat Ride

Witness the lush beauty of the Krka National Park on a day trip from Split or Trogir. Depart Split and relax on the short journey to Krka National Park, known for its spectacular waterfalls and the travertine barrier of Skradinski Buk. Listen to your host as they explain all the secrets of the stunning setting and its scenic attractions. Upon arrival, get some free time to stroll the well-organized trails and wander through the lush green forests at your own pace. Hike to a small collection of renovated stone houses, workshops, and other authentic buildings, including a watermill that demonstrates sustainable village life from centuries ago. Wind your way down to the Krka River, stopping every now and again to read the educational maps and interesting information about the herbs and animal species that make the park their home. Relax under the shade of the tall trees, or sit down on the banks of the river and watch the water rush by. Then, enjoy a boat ride down the Krka river canyon, which will take you to the town of Skradin. Located within the grounds of the national park, you will have 2 hours here to relax. Then, say farewell to this piece of paradise and hop back on the bus. Enjoy back to Split via a landscape of striking beauty and pass the picturesque villages of Dalmatia.

From Split or Trogir: Krka Waterfalls and Šibenik

2. From Split or Trogir: Krka Waterfalls and Šibenik

Embark on a journey by bus to see some of Croatia's most stunning natural wonders in Krka National Park. Before visiting a historic town, follow your guide through the park's pathways, marvelling at its clear waterfalls. Begin your day with a drive that takes you between the Dalmatian coast and the hinterland. You enjoy views of Trogir, Split, and the surrounding landscape that features abundant greenery and picturesque villages. On this full-day excursion, your first stop will be in Šibenik to see the sights of the town, including the UNESCO-protected St. Jacob’s Cathedral. As you continue the drive you’ll have great views of the coast and offshore islands, and hear from your guide about the area's history. The next stop is in Krka National Park, at the Krka waterfalls. Walk along the wooden paths through the park’s stunning scenery, and hear the singing of rare birds and seawater mills that have been in action for centuries. See the magnificent Skradinski Buk, the biggest waterfall in the park, and one of the most beautiful cliff waterfalls in Europe. Visit Peninsula Primošten. Some of Croatia’s best-voted beaches are native to Primošten, and its vineyards are even on the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Enjoy in this medieval island town to swim, chill, eat, or take a scenic stroll.

What people are saying about Trogir

This trip was great! Darko was an amazing guide and I thought we had a nice amount of time at each stop. You can choose to take the tour in each place, or you can venture off on your own and meet back at a given time. We mostly explored on our own. Sibenik was charming, Krka is BEAUTIFUL and there was a final stop in Skradin where we had lunch (some of the best and most authentic food we’ve had in Croatia). Trip in total was 8:30am - 7:30pm. Would recommend!!

Very pleasant day The staff was very pleasant, the bus was on time and the organization was top notch! The only downside is that we lack a bit of time to go around the Krka park without rushing. Apart from that, in view of the service offered, I highly recommend this activity!

Krka National Park is a must-see. This is really beautiful. Thanks to the guide, the information to make the most of it is given and the planning of the day is made easy, so you can enjoy it without worrying about anything!

The excursion was really fantastic. Darija, our guide for the journey is the best guide of Croatia and absolutely kind :)

we were very happy with the experience. Dario was very helpful and friendly and we were safely driven by Antonio
