Emmanuelle, our bike guide, conducted us safely through the streets of Rome to the Appian Way (Via Appia). He is passionate about his city, its history, and biking. When someone loves what he does like Emmanuelle does, it makes the excursion so much more enjoyable. The e-bikes are an absolute requirement for the journey through the Roman countryside. We enjoyed our homemade tastings on a gorgeous little farm along the way. I highly recommend this excursion.

This is an excellent activity to get out of Rome and see a part of history, the Via Reginarum. So many interesting stops, aquaducts, mausoleums, villas, etc. Alberto was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, personable, and a great sense of humor. Very concerned with our safety as well. The farm for the food-tasting was wonderful, with amazing locally produced olive oil, honey, wine, bread and cheese. Frederica was a lovely host for the luncheon.

TopBike’s tour of the Appian Way with our guide Alessandro, was a highlight of our Italian trip. Safe, informative, and fun- Alessandro guided our small group through city streets, ancient roads, and country side with ease and humor. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome, and we would absolutely do it again.

This was a great day out that delivered way beyond our expectations. The electric bikes made light work of the terrain and our guide Allessio was courteous, knowledgeable and good fun to be with.

Beautiful route. Nice guide! Very varied and a nice break from the busy city.
