Full description
Explore the food and culture in Tokyo in your own way with a private licensed guide. Let the guide know what special requests you have for the day and they will tailor your itinerary accordingly. All guides hold the nationally-licensed Tour Guide-Interpreter certification. It is issued by the Japanese government and requires a good understanding of Japanese culture and history. This tour feature a morning pickup at your hotel in Tokyo, then a visit to any number of possible sites. You can customize your itinerary according to the places you want to visit. See a suggested itinerary below.  First stop is the Tsukiji Fish Market, where lots of the raw materials for Tokyo’s food scene come from. If you want to try fresh sushi for breakfast, this is the place to do it. There’s nothing like beginning your day with fresh, sweet, raw fish. Next, explore the neighboring Toyosu market.  Ameyoko Shopping Street is a bustling street that is jam-packed with everything you could need including clothes and electronics. A lot of the products already have a good discount, but if they don't, you can test out your negotiating skills. By the time you arrive at Kappabashi Street, you will already be a big fan of Japanese food, and will now be wondering how to cook it. Kappanashi Street is where you can buy all the cooking tools and kitchenware needed to prepare Japanese food.
