Mike provided an exceptional tour, giving us insights into Japanese architecture in an inspiring way. He is very knowledgeable and receptive to questions. We got to see some of the expected, but also many of the unexpected sights off the beaten track! It is a truly personalized experience that is highly gratifying.

In spite of the hundreds of tours, Mike must have given over the years, he took a personal interest in us and was genuinely keen to enrich our experience of Tokyo's architecture. The knowledge we acquired gave us a greater appreciation and understanding of the buildings we later saw in our travels to other parts of Japan.
