Escape the hustle and bustle of Tokyo on a tour to Mount Fuji, and experience the scenic splendor of Japan’s highest mountain by air-conditioned coach. Sit back and relax on the approximately 2-hour journey. A tour assistant will be with you as you travel from place to place. First, visit Kawaguchi-ko Lake in the Fuji Five Lakes area, and see the snow-capped Mt. Fuji reflected in its waters.Located near the Kawaguchi-ko station, the area is a popular resort, boasting many lakeside hotels, windsurfing facilities, camp sites, and excursion boats. Next, head to Oshino Shinobi no Sato to explore the “Oshino Ninja Village.” Discover a lovely Japanese Garden, and become a part of Japanese culture as you get your photo taken with a Ninja. After an optional Japanese-style lunch at Oshino Shinobi no Sato, go to Oshino Hakkai (“Oshino Eight Ponds"") for spectacular views of Mt. Fuji and its spring waters. Enjoy traditional Japanese rural views while walking around some of the ponds, sampling fresh fruit and local foods. Then, transfer to Mt. Fuji 5th Station for the closest view of Mt. Fuji, and see the Shinto shrine. Next on the itinerary is the flight simulator at Fuji Airways. Enjoy views of Mt. Fuji during every season at the 4D experience created by the latest in Japanese technology.

The tour was marvelous with great sites I had looked forward to and exceeded my expectations. The tour guide was energetic and kept us on track with time. My one comment would be to have had a Japanese tourist to get historical information versus someone who had only moved to Tokyo two years prior. She was good but I did not come to Japan to have a mom-Japanese tour guide

On the outset we were told seeing the mountain clearly was not a guarantee. True enough there was a lot of mist and clouds that day, but there was nothing the tour operator could do about that. In all it was a nice experience. You will get to visit different places associated with Mt. Fuji before going to the Fifth Station, the last station on the mountain accessible by bus. From there, those who want to summit it have to go on foot. It's definitely worth it, but try booking this tour on days where there isn't much traffic as it involves going on different major thoroughfares and you can lose a lot of daylight just waiting in the bus.

We were picked up at Apple store Ginza and brought back to a hub where we were transferred to another bus and taken on the tour which was good value for money brought back to hub and then were told this was the finish we had to find our own way home .I think people should be warned of this and Getguide should provide some information to assist people to get back to their pick up point.
