Planning Your Visit

  • Wristband options

Depending on your interests—dinner, entertainment, rides—there’s a few inclusive options to choose from. Pay the Tivoli Gardens entrance fee alone or get a wristband for unlimited rides. Admission is free for children under eight.

  • Check out the surrounding area

Because the amusement park is located right next to the Copenhagen Central Station and a ten minute walk from City Hall, walking around the area is especially rewarding. Explore the beautiful city as it should be—walking along the canal admiring the Nordic architecture.

The experience wouldn’t be complete without knowing something about the place. The founder, Georg Carstensen, was able to get King Christian VIII on board with the Tivoli gardens amusement park by saying, “When the people are amusing themselves, they do not think about politics.”

Tivoli Park is highly recommended! If you want to ride a roller coaster, definitely book the ultimate ride ticket, otherwise you would have to pay for every ride. In the evening the park is beautifully illuminated!

It was an interesting hike where I also got to learn a lot about the history of the city. Also got tips on museums to visit, affordable restaurants etc.

Unfortunately, the entry didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped, but at the service center we got everything we had booked.

Very good service, the staff was really nice and I would recommend it
