Be picked up from the comfort of your hotel in Tirana and enjoy the scenic drive to lake Bovilla. Start your hike at on a trail to Gamti peak. Keep an eye out for local wildlife like foxes, golden eagles, and peregrine falcons as you climb. Choose if you would like to take a the easy trail or the more challenging trail. Take the easy trail up to the 'Balcony of Bovilla' where you can experience sweeping views of the forests, valleys, and the Bovilla lake hydropower dam. Stop for some free time where you can purchase a delicious lunch at a local farm-style restaurant with stunning views of the lake. Select the more difficult trail and climb to the peak of Gamti where you are rewarded with splendid views of the mountain range. Return to your accommodation in Tirana.

Pick up at the hotel and be ready to explore the capital of Albania, Tirana. The main economic and cultural center of the country and a vibrant city, full of life. You will visit the main attractions located along Main Boulevard and Skanderbeg Square, starting from Mother Teresa Square, the central government buildings such as the Presidency and the Prime Minister’s Office, several ministries, the Check Point and the Block, religious monuments such as the Catholic and Orthodox Cathedrals, the Ethem Bey Mosque, the National Museum, and the BunkArt 1. After passing through much of the city, we head to the Dajti National Park, a mountain located on the outskirts of Tirana. The ascent will be made through a panoramic cable car, the longest in the Balkans, and from a height of 1200m, from where we will have lunch and enjoy the wonderful view of Tirana, the entire Western Plain and the Adriatic Sea. On the way back, we will stop at the Bektashi World Center to complete the historical and religious picture of Albania. The Bektashies are the second largest Islamic community in the country and one of the main factors in the excellent religious harmony and coexistence that prevails in the country. After the visit to the Temple, drop off at the hotel. End of our service.

We will depart from Tirana at 8:00 am. First, we will visit Durres Castle and the Amphitheater of Durres. Durrës Castle (Albanian: Kalaja e Durrësit) is the fortified part of the old city of Durrës. It is enclosed by city walls built in the late 5th century, and repaired and reinforced in the Middle Ages and early modern periods. the Amphitheater of Durres, surely one of the greatest pieces of ancient architecture in Albania, if not the Balkans, the Durres Amphitheatre was built in 100AD by Hadrian and was only rediscovered in the 1960s. It was used for about 300 years and back then it could as many as 20,000 spectators. Next, we will visit Berat Castle, the National Iconographic Museum "Onufri", Located in the Inner Part of Saint Mary Church in Berat Castel. Later we will visit Solomon Museum, The King Mosque, Tekke, and the Inn. Berat Castle, apart from being one of the biggest inhabited in Albania, also represents a unique combination of different styles and epochs, such as Roman, Byzantine, Albanian, and Ottoman. The National Iconographic Museum "Onufri" holds 200 artwork objects, icons and liturgical items dated from the 16th century to the 20th, brought together from several churches and monasteries of the region. The “Solomoni” Museum in Berat is dedicated to the city’s extensive Jewish history and the coexistence between Jews, Muslims, Orthodox, and Catholic inhabitants over the last 500 years. The King Mosque, also known as the Sultan's Mosque (Xhamia e Sulltanit) or Sultan Bayezid Mosque, is a mosque and a Cultural Monument. At the end, we will take sightseeing in Elbasan historical sight, its ancient Castle and Basilica. Elbasan city community took part in the spread of Christianity along the Via Egnatia, and had a bishop, cathedral and basilicas as early as the fifth century. You will learn more during the sightseeing... We will reach Tirana by 5:00 pm.

Sazan island is located in the center of the Bay of Vlora and is the largest in all Albania. Formally Sazan island today is still a military base, with several active bunkers with rooms and food supplies. In fact, however, there are only two soldiers patrolling its grounds. Starting in 2015, the Albanian government opened Sazan to tourism. Given the small human presence over the centuries, Sazan is in fact an oasis of peace, uninhabited and unspoiled. Visually, the only trace of human presence is represented by the dense network of underground tunnels and bunkers built in the communist era. The communist regime built them during the Cold War – with the world divided into two blocks, the fear of a nuclear war was very high. The Karaburun Peninsula is 15 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide, which reaches a height of 800 meters above sea level at the highest point. The area retains some of the most beautiful Albania beaches. You will then get on the boat again to reach one of the most precious gems of the Karaburun-Sazan marine area in a few minutes. This is the Illyrian Cave, also called Haxhi Ali Cave, in honor of the legendary Albanian pirate who lived between 1500 and 1600. During the time of stay in the cave, each participant can choose to snorkel or enjoy a drink on the boat!

Depart for Berat at 9:00 am and you will be transferred to this beautiful city for around 2 hours. First we will start the tour with the castle area, and we will be piercing through old stones houses on a nice walk on a cobbled path, until we reach “Onufri” iconographic museum. The Cathedral of Shën Mëria houses a museum of works by the famous iconographers of the 16th century: Onufri, and his son, Nikolla. There are over 100 icons on display. We will continue walking in the narrow cobbled paths, and do a quick stop for a coffee in one of the old houses and interact with locals. We will continue our walk with beautiful sightseeing of old churches and mosques accompanying us. We will reach the view-point, where you can see clearly the two other neighborhoods: Mangalem and Gorica from the top view, the beautiful Osumi river piercing through and the high mighty mountains. After the fortress we will go on the old Mangalem neighborhood, until we reach the old plaza of the city. We will continue our walk by the river towards the Gorica bridge, and have an amazing view of Gorica neighborhood. This will be the end of the city tour, and there will be an optional lunch in a restaurant with traditional cuisine. Afterwards we will drive to “Cobo” winery, one of the best wineries in Albania where you will have a wine tasting of their finest wines with appetizers. After the wine tour, we will start heading back to Tirana.

Benefit from pick-up at a location of your choice in Skopje, and then travel by comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Kosovo. Visit the 14th-century Gračanica Monastery on the way to Pristina, and then take a sightseeing tour of the city to see some of its beautiful attractions on arrival. Discover the new Cathedral of Saint Mother Teresa, along with highlights such as the National Library and equestrian statue on Skanderbeg Square. Stroll along pedestrianized Nane Theresa and visit the Old Bazaar. Break for lunch at your own expense, and then spend the afternoon in the small town of Prizren. Learn about its rich cultural heritage on a guided tour of the town center. See highlights such as the Old Stone Bridge and medieval Church of St. George. Pass the 17th-century Sinan Pasha Mosque and Bajrakli Mosque behind the Albanian League Museum. Find fine local handicrafts in the many craft shops, and watch the world go by on Shadervan Square.

The tour guide will pick you up and drive you to Durres area, an area on the Adriatic Sea that is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Tirana. Once in Durres area, you will visit Cape of Rodon, a rocky peninsula that extends into the sea. This hidden gem features the ruins of Skanderbeg Castle and St. Anthony Church, both of which have historical significance and offer beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. After exploring Cape of Rodon, the tour offers free time for visitors to walk along the sandy beaches or swim in the clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. Then, the tour will head to the Duka Winery and Vineyard, where visitors can relax and enjoy the atmosphere while sipping on local wines. Finally, the tour will end with a transfer back to Tirana in the evening. Lake Bovilla is one of the most amazing hidden gems in Albania. This reservoir provides most of the drinking water for the capital city of Albania- Tirana, and is located around 25 km from the city. If you look around, you will see the green peaks of the mountains that give the lake its astonishing view. You will see in the west the mountains of Gamti and Brari, as well as the mountain of Dajti to the southeast. Lake Bovilla has nature that has been barely touched by human hands where there is plenty of wildlife roaming around, not to mention the breathtaking panoramic views it provides! A private guided tour that starts with picking you up from your accommodation at 9:00 am and start driving towards Bovilla Lake. Half of the drive will be asphalt, and the other half will be off road until we will get closer to the mountains where you will be serenaded with the views of the mountains. We will get to Bovilla’s lake dam and start our hike to the top. The hike is not intensive and very enjoyable because the views get better with each step! It takes around 35 minutes to get to the top, but on our way we will have a break at Bovilla Restaurant for a coffee/cold drink and enjoy the amazing view. After that we will head to a little more challenging short hike, to the very top of “Bovilla Balcony” to enjoy the breathtaking view. You will have some time to take photos and to eat some food that you can bring with you (there is also the option to eat at Bovilla Restaurant and try some Albanian traditional cuisine). This will conclude our tour and we will drive back to your hotel.

Day 1: Sightseeing tour of Prizren & Prishtina We travel towards Prizren in the morning. Prizren, considered to be the cultural capital of Kosovo, this charming, vivacious town with mountains all around is a real treasure hidden in the heart of the Balkan Peninsula. We arrive in Prizren in about 2 hours and meet our local guide for a walking tour of the city entering the Sinan Pasha Mosque, The Church of Our Lady of Ljevis (Unesco), The Museum of Prizren League and the Ottoman Old Town known for its gold and silver filigree craftsmen. Enjoy free time for lunch in Prizren and leave the town for the capital of Kosovo, Prishtina. In the afternoon, have a walking tour of Prishtina to discover the city with its many mosques, cathedrals and markets. Day 2: Matka Canyon & Sightseeing Tour of Skopje This morning we head towards North Macedonia with our first stop at Matka Canyon known for its butterfly colonies. Here we embark on a private boat ride for a short exploration of the Vrelo Cave, one the deepest in the world, before enjoying free time for lunch with a great view. With a short drive we arrive in Skopje the capital of North Macedonia Have a walking tour of Skopje discovering the city with its highlight like Mother Teresa Memorial House, opened in 2009 to pay tribute to the life of the celebrated humanitarian, the old railway station and the Stone Bridge, which dates back to 1451. Enjoy a relaxing evening in Skopje. Day 3: Sightseeing tour of Ohrid (Unesco) Reach and take in all that the Unesco–recognized charming city of Ohrid has to offer on a guided tour with a local guide. Pass by the glorious Church of Saint Sophia and the National Workshop for a handmade paper-making demonstration. Enter Samuil’s Fortress and walk along its historic 4th-centrury walls. Discover the Ancient Theatre of Ohrid, built in the Hellenistic style. Walk up to the cliff-top Church of Saint John at Kaneo for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Day 4: Tirana via Saint Naum Monastery & Bay of Bones On our way to Tirana, visit the Bay of Bones Museum, a prehistoric settlement located on Lake Ohrid. A one of a kind in the region, it is an authentic reconstruction of a part of the pile-dwelling settlement, dating back between 1200 and 700 Bc. Then, continue exploring the medieval Monastery of Saint Naum. See the resident peacocks that roam the grounds Enter the monastery to view its intricate frescoes We drive towards the border of Albania to Pogradec, where you have free time to enjoy lunch on the shores of Lake Ohrid.
