Day 1: Sightseeing tour of Prizren & Prishtina We travel towards Prizren in the morning. Prizren, considered to be the cultural capital of Kosovo, this charming, vivacious town with mountains all around is a real treasure hidden in the heart of the Balkan Peninsula. We arrive in Prizren in about 2 hours and meet our local guide for a walking tour of the city entering the Sinan Pasha Mosque, The Church of Our Lady of Ljevis (Unesco), The Museum of Prizren League and the Ottoman Old Town known for its gold and silver filigree craftsmen. Enjoy free time for lunch in Prizren and leave the town for the capital of Kosovo, Prishtina. In the afternoon, have a walking tour of Prishtina to discover the city with its many mosques, cathedrals and markets. Day 2: Matka Canyon & Sightseeing Tour of Skopje This morning we head towards North Macedonia with our first stop at Matka Canyon known for its butterfly colonies. Here we embark on a private boat ride for a short exploration of the Vrelo Cave, one the deepest in the world, before enjoying free time for lunch with a great view. With a short drive we arrive in Skopje the capital of North Macedonia Have a walking tour of Skopje discovering the city with its highlight like Mother Teresa Memorial House, opened in 2009 to pay tribute to the life of the celebrated humanitarian, the old railway station and the Stone Bridge, which dates back to 1451. Enjoy a relaxing evening in Skopje. Day 3: Sightseeing tour of Ohrid (Unesco) Reach and take in all that the Unesco–recognized charming city of Ohrid has to offer on a guided tour with a local guide. Pass by the glorious Church of Saint Sophia and the National Workshop for a handmade paper-making demonstration. Enter Samuil’s Fortress and walk along its historic 4th-centrury walls. Discover the Ancient Theatre of Ohrid, built in the Hellenistic style. Walk up to the cliff-top Church of Saint John at Kaneo for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Day 4: Tirana via Saint Naum Monastery & Bay of Bones On our way to Tirana, visit the Bay of Bones Museum, a prehistoric settlement located on Lake Ohrid. A one of a kind in the region, it is an authentic reconstruction of a part of the pile-dwelling settlement, dating back between 1200 and 700 Bc. Then, continue exploring the medieval Monastery of Saint Naum. See the resident peacocks that roam the grounds Enter the monastery to view its intricate frescoes We drive towards the border of Albania to Pogradec, where you have free time to enjoy lunch on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Travel to Tirana in the late afternoon. (Hotel accommodation in Tirana is not included on tour)

Take the opportunity to capture incredible photos or just relax with your group on the edge. While walking back, make a stop at Qafe Thore. Here, admire sweeping views of the national park before your last stop: the Church of Theth. Explore the grounds of this picturesque church built in 1892. After a delicious lunch, travel back to Tirana city.

Visit the Gjirokastra Obelisk dedicated to the first school of Gjirokastra and enjoy the 360º view from there. Next, stop for lunch in a small local restaurant for a taste of the city’s authentic dishes. Step into Skenduli house, the nicest Ottoman tower house, and listen to its history and details from the 10th generation of the Skenduli family. Spend a relaxing evening in the streets of Gjirokaster. Day 3: Sightseeing tour of Butrint & the Blue Eye spring Travel to the “Blue Eye” spring. Admire the shades of blue and surrounding nature before heading to Butrint. There, marvel at 2,500 years of history on a guided tour with a local guide. See the highlights, such as the amphitheater, castle, churches, and Lion Gate. Drive to Ksamil and enjoy lunch by the lake at the Mussel House. Spend your afternoon in Ksamil before heading to Saranda via Lekursi Castle, which overlooks the city. Day 4: Tirana via Vlore and Riviera Road En route to the city of Vlore via the scenic Riviera road, and explore the Ali Pasha Castle with your Tour Director. First, head to the Llogara “balcony” for a stunning view of the South Coast beaches before indulging in lunch at Llogara National. Next, visit a park surrounded by pine trees and a fresh mountain breeze. Marvel at the architecture and listen to entertaining legends about the man who built it, Ali Pashe Tepelena. Leave Tirana bright and early for a scenic tour of North-East Albania. Visit small towns and villages on the 190 km road to Radomira, and get a taste for rural living. Venture to the summit of Korab Mountain, the highest peak in Albania, and feel like you’re on top of the world. Arrive at lunchtime in Radomira, a charming village nestled in plush grasslands on the mountainside, with a unique mix of traditional and industrial buildings. Relax by the glacial waters of the Black Lake, enclosed with thick greenery that creates a mystical aura, and breathe the pure air. You’ll be welcomed at the guesthouse for dinner that evening and breakfast in the morning. Rest up for your hike to Korab’s peak along the moderately difficult trail. Refuel with a picnic lunch and plenty of water breaks, and be sure to enjoy the scenes of valleys, lakes, and forests. Notice the mountains’ biodiversity, from ancient oaks whose colors reflect the season, to grassy fields where shepherds care for their sheep. Get the best view from the peak, and see the full glory of the Balkans. Take your time hiking back to Radomira, and relax on the drive back to Tirana.

Our adventure starts early in the morning, at 6.00 we meet the guide to leave by car or minivan in the direction of Koman Lake. We stop halfway for a coffee and leave to arrive around 10 on the shores of Lake Koman. Here we get on a small boat, one of the twenty-seat motor boats used as a means of transport by the locals since the birth of the lake. Going up the waters, we immerse ourselves in a landscape made of intense colors. The almost emerald green of the water, the light and warm colors of the rock and the dark ones of the vegetation. A myriad of small farms, livestock farms, villages consisting of three houses in the middle of the woods extend to the edge of the water. In Fierze our journey to the village of Valbona begins in the Tropoja district in northern Albania. The valley of the Valbona River adjacent to the Theth National Park, is situated between the rugged mountain peaks and characterized by a great variety of colors and contrasts.Lunch with traditional local food. Then, accompanied by our guide, we will go to visit the Valbona waterfall. Return to the hotel with dinner and evening of celebrations. Second day Departure on Sunday at 9 for Lake Xhema, to then reach Prizren located in the southern part of the country, not far from the border with Albania and Macedonians. Prizren is the second largest city in Kosovo. Known since the Middle Ages for its beauty, it is located at a height of 450 meters and is protected by the chain of the Sharr Mountains, which rise up to 2748 meters in height. In the center of the old city, a real architectural jewel built along the banks of the Lumbardhi river (the white river also called Bistrica), you move between churches and mosques. Walking respectfully along the winding streets of the old city, you hear secrets and legends. Passing through the ancient stone bridge, you reach Piazza Shadervani, the main square of the city and a meeting place during the day and at night. Around here there are two important places of worship, the wonderful Sinan Pasha mosque and the Orthodox church of San Giorgio. But the most important church in Prizren is the Cathedral of Our Lady of Ljeviš, built in the 14th century and today protected by UNESCO. Many peoples have succeeded one another in Prizren and have left traces that have been stratifying. To get an overview of this Kosovo city from above, just go up to Kalaja, the ancient castle built by the Serbs in 1300 (optional). Departure for Tirana via Rruga e Kombit, stop for a coffee along the way.

Day 5: Saranda via Gjirokaster Transfer to Gjirokaster to discover this "city of a thousand steps” whilst driving through small villages. Once arrived, settle into your hotel before soaking up the rich history of the castle and enjoying the view of the “city of stone” from above. Explore the Ottoman Bazaar and historic wooden house before stopping for lunch in a small local restaurant for a taste of the city’s authentic dishes. On the road to Saranda, you will later stop at the “Blue Eye” spring. Day 6: Butrint and Ksamil Transfer to Butrint for a guided tour of the UNESCO archaeological site. Following that you will have free time for a beach day at the Ksamil Islands, before returning to Saranda in the evening. Day 7: Vlore via Ali Pasha Castle & Riviera Road Visit Porto Palermo Castle with your guide, before spending the day at the beach in the bay of Porto Palermo. Along the way you'll stop by Tirana, as well as the Llogara “balcony” to try local products of the area. Leave Tirana on day one and head toward the North of Albania to stop at the Castle of Rozafa. Learn about the castle's role in Albanian history, dating from the Antiquity and the Illiryan-Roman wars, and see the castle, built over the top of a hill. Discover the fascinating legends of the Albanian Epos and how it relates to the castle's history. Depart from the Castle and head down to the city of Shkoder. Marvel at the city famous for its typical architecture, sense of humor, and friendly atmosphere, it is one of the most important city centers of Albania. Take in the religious diversity of the city where one can find a Catholic Church, Orthodox Church, and Muslim Mosque next to each other. Walk through Shkoder and take in some of the most interesting parts of the city, including the most famous “Pedonale”, a pedestrian-friendly area with bars and restaurants. Travel out of Shkoder in the afternoon to head North toward Theth to stay overnight. Drive on the winding road to Theth and upon reaching the destination, be welcomed by a local family in their guesthouse. Hike to the beautiful Gurnas waterfall after breakfast at the guesthouse. Enjoy a leisurely 45-min walk from the center of the village to the waterfall. Visit also the Catholic Church of Theth on the trip out of Theth and see the Lock-in Tower. With more than 4 centuries of history, this building is the symbol of settling the Blood Feuds in Albania.

Day 1 : At six o'clock the guide will come and pick you up at the hotel. Then we start the journey to Valbona. We arrive at Komani Lake where we will travel by ferry for about 2.5 hours. During the trip we will have the opportunity to see the Komani Lake surrounded by high mountains and greenery. The nature is amazing! The journey continues towards the town of Bajram Curri. There we will take a walk on the main boulevard and have a coffee / tea. We continue the trip to Valbona National Park. Along the way we are accompanied by the river Valbona where we can stop bathing (Optional). The next stop is at the water mill, where you will learn how water mills work. Overnight in Valbona (Guesthouse). Accommodation is included in the package. Day 2 : After breakfast we will explore the Valbona Valley by 4x4 car/ Van for 30 minutes. Then we will hike to Valbona waterfall, a waterfall with fantastic nature. The hike is easy level, through the beech forest. After visiting the waterfall, we continue walking for about an hour to a point where the Valbona valley is viewed from above. Xhema’s Lake is a spring-fed who creates a magic blue lake in the springtime. During summer, especially in August, it gets dried, losing the magic and being transformed mostly in a puddle. Anyway, the walk to this place is a nice experience exploring the surroundings in every season. On the way back to Tirana, we will pass through Kosovo and will definitely stop at Prizren city.Prizren is one of the oldest settlements in Kosovo and the western Balkans. Archaeological excavations in Prizren Fortress indicate that its fortress area has seen habitation and use since the Bronze Age

Day 5: Berat via Porto Palermo Bay & Albanian Riviera Road En route to the city of Berat via the scenic Riviera road, explore the Ali Pasha Castle with your Tour Director. Marvel at the architecture and listen to entertaining legends about the man who build it, Ali Pashe Tepelena. Stop for lunch at a rustic local restaurant along Shushica river. Reach Berat, get settled in the hotel and enjoy an evening in the lights and promenade of this pretty Unesco town. Day 6: Walking Tour & Local Food in Berat (Unesco) This morning set out for a walking guide of “City of Thousand Windows”, where you will admire the Red Mosque, the White Mosque, the Church of the Holy Trinity and the arched bridge of Gorica.
