The Hue cooking class tour introduces you to cooking and tasting Vietnamese food – in particular Hue specialties. Take a trip to the countryside on the back of a motorbike. Imagine getting out of the hustle bustle of the city to get to the fresh and cool countryside with its endless paddy fields, bamboo forests and green gardens. You will be amazed by the life here, as you can also learn some of the local customs and culture while exploring the village’s market. Moreover, you will learn to cook with a friendly chef at a countryside restaurant and learn to make Vietnamese coffee with your female motorbike rider. Head to Thuy Chanh village, which is famous for Thanh Toan Bridge, the oldest bridge in Hue. The local market will be your first stop. There you will buy the necessary ingredients for your cooking class. Then, explore the vegetable garden of a local restaurant while enjoying Vietnamese tea. Later, prepare the ingredients and learn to cook three traditional Hue dishes. The lesson will finish at lunchtime, as you can enjoy your dishes along with two special dishes from the restaurant. However, that is not the end, you still have a Vietnamese coffee-making lesson before heading back to Hue.

Hue is a charming city that is popular with tourists. Not only does it have beautiful landscapes and friendly locals but also wonderful local cuisines. Hue has an interesting history and was once a former capital of Vietnam. Hue is also famous for its popular royal cuisine and on this tour, you will have the chance to learn how to cook Hue royal cakes. This is a fun experience for anybody visiting the city and a chance to eat some delicious cakes.  Your time in the class will be spent learning from a local family, located in the lovely countryside. Learn how to bake traditional cakes such as loc cake, beo cake, and nam cake. You'll go in the morning to the market all together to buy the ingredients and then spend approximately 4 hours cooking, before enjoying your creations.
