Outstanding guide, Janis. with archaeological degree, very congenial and informative, excellent driver, flexible for the group. Good visitation times for Pella and Vergina. Tour or archeological site. Answered all questions. Fascinating visit to the tombs of King Phillip II of Macedonia and his grandson. Special real non touristic Greek restaurant for lunch. Greet gift shop there, Museum books snd… interesting drive back to Thessalonki. Learned about agriculture here. Highly recommend this tour with a smaller group as we had.

Brilliant experience. There were only 7 of us in the tour, which is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other crowded tours. The tour was very educational thanks to Iannis' knowledge of Pella, Vergina and Greek history in general. Pella is only 40 mins from Thessaloniki and Vergina is another 30-40 mins from Pella, so the rides were quite short and enjoyable. The Pella visit is divided into the archaeological site and the museum. The site is quite interesting, but a good guide with good information is a must, which luckily we had. The museum is modern and overall quite good. The ride to Vergina was quite enjoyable through the fields. At Vergina, the tombs and the museum were super interesting and well preserved. Highly recommend lunch at the restaurant across the street from the site (not included). Great local food. Tickets to the sites are not included with the tour price: Pella - 8 euros (includes both site and museum). Vergina - 12 euros.

We were a small group and our guide was great- very knowledgeable and friendly! From the meeting point we took a van to the Pella archeological museum which cost 8€ and which we had about an hour to visit on our own. Then the guide took us down the road and gave us a tour of the actual Pella excavation site which was very cool. After that we drove about another hour to Philip II tomb which was very interesting and which cost 12€. We had about an hour there as well before we met back up for lunch at a nearby cafe. The prices for dishes was reasonable and the food was good. Overall we visited some really interesting places. I think the tour was a bit expensive though considering all the extra costs of the museums -20€.
