Full description
Following early morning pick-up from central Thessaloniki, journey by luxurious air-conditioned bus to the ancient sanctuary of Dion in the foothills of Mount Olympus.
Upon arrival, explore the mythical home of the Greek gods with your guide for around 90 minutes. Learn more about the sanctuary, dedicated to the leader of the gods, Zeus. Marvel at artifacts from antiquity, including Greek statues, mosaic floors and more.
Then, go to the traditional village of Litochoro, situated close to the mountain and a popular destination for those planning to climb Mount Olympus. Enjoy approximately 2 hours of free time to explore the picturesque village and to walk in the valley of Enipea on the low slopes of the mountain.
