Our guide was great. Would have liked to spend a little more time in the pools but the group did opt to hike a little more around the pools. I bought a few of the handwoven rugs but found them at a much cheaper price later in my travels. Overall a great experience just beware of price increase from being on a tour.

We had such a great time with Alberto and all of the people we met along the way! It was a gloomy and rainy day but we loved the walk/hike at Hierve El Agua with a local guide (Spanish speaking). We loved the tapestry/rug shop and were able to purchase a few items. The home style lunch was one of our favorite meals of the whole trip, and, of course, the mezcal tasting was a lot of fun. It was a long day, so be prepared, but definitely worth experiencing the best of Oaxaca in a single day.

Though we were only two guests, our guide picked us up punctually and took us to Hierve el Agua. He was very flexible when we asked to skip the weavery in Teotitlán in order to have more time at HeA. The site itself was smaller than we expected but very well kept. Very interesting was the guided tour and the tasting at the Mezcal manufactory "Don Agave"; even better was their food. At the end the guide dropped us at our desired spot in Oaxaca.
