  • Mexico City: Xochimilco, Coyoacán and University City Tour

    1. Mexico City: Xochimilco, Coyoacán and University City Tour

Start your trip with a brief visit to an artisan center in one of the most emblematic neighborhoods of the city, Peralvillo. Learn all about the handicrafts of all regions of Mexico. Continue your tour in the southern part of the city, where you can visit the Frida Kahlo Museum, or if your prefer, head to the center of Coyoacan, for a 1-hour visit. Next, move on to discover the beautiful scenery of Lake of Xochimilco. Make the most of the opportunity to take a ride on a boat named Trajinera, in the ancient canals of the lake. In Xochimilco, see the chinampas (artificial islands), and find out what life was like 500 years ago in the great Tenochtitlan. Take this chance to savor the typical food of the region, as well as enjoy the Mexican music mariachi. Finally, visit one of the most important universities in Latin America, UNAM.

It was a great and fun half-day trip, I'm really glad we ended up doing it. Our tour guide was a great host, and a real multitasker. He gave us so many great recommendations and information about all sights we visited, and about Mexico city. All our questions were welcome. Xochimilco is a must-to-see for all tourists! We didn't spend much time in Coyoacan - make sure to return here some day! Such a nice place to enjoy lunch and walk around the local markets. You won't have time for that during the trip though. However, make sure to try churros during your short stop there, it's the best we've ever tasted!

  • From Mexico City: Teotihuacan Small-Group Dawn Tour

    2. From Mexico City: Teotihuacan Small-Group Dawn Tour

After being collected from the lobby of your hotel, you will be taken to the archeological site of Teotihuacan, where you’ll marvel at some of the most impressive pyramids in the world. You can see and climb the Sun and Moon pyramids, visit the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, walk through the Avenue of the Dead, and much more. You will then be taken to a clay workshop where you will learn everything about the pulque, silver and clay processes, manufactured by local people. Whilst here you will also learn about how all these activities were done years ago, and you will be even invited to taste some tequila, mezcal and pulque. Following this, you can enjoy delicious Mexican food and drinks (not included) during an allocated short break. Your tour will then conclude with you being taken back to your hotel or preferred nearby location at around 3:00PM.

Pick up was on time. Van was very clean. Monse was a great guide. Very friendly, incredibly informative and fun.

This tour was guided by the amazing Humberto. He took us to multiple locations and has a lot of knowledge about the whole city. Moreover, I am learning Spanish so I asked Humberto to speak in Spanish. He said: 'Of course!' and said that he will talk a bit slower for me which really helped me to understand what he was saying. Also when I didn't understand it, he explained it to me. Overall, the tour was amazing, especially Xochimilco! I also made some Peruvian friends who were following the same tour. Thanks for the amazing day! Saludos de Liana (Maria Sapulette) de Holanda.

Great guide. A nice variety of activities that we would not have had time to get to on our own.

Our tour guide Julio was FANTASTIC. We had a great experience.

Yunuel and Pepe were amazing! Really recommend the tour .
