Full description
Take a 3-hour guided hike along one or more of the 30 trails on Mount Teide. The great variety and levels of difficulty make it easy for visitors to choose their ideal route with the recommendations of the guide. The trails with the most spectacular vistas are on the summit of Mount Teide (3,718 meters) and they can be reached from the La Rambleta starting point (accessible by cable car) followed by trail number 10.  Without a doubt the most popular trail is the one leading to the volcano's peak, but there are limits on how many people can visit that area of Teide. You will be provided with an official guide, who will prepare you for the hike and accompany you along the route to provide commentary on the spectacular natural landscapes.

Very nice team! You have to plan a lot of time. The 20-minute run is strenuous, but totally doable. You should be sure-footed and have a basic level of fitness. In our group, a 6-year-old made it to the summit holding his father's hand. In summer (July) it is still very warm on the summit with sunshine during the day. So shorts are definitely possible and only a thin sweater as additional clothing. I had way too many clothes with me. I recommend arriving by car (there are enough parking spaces at the valley station) and staying in Teide National Park after the ascent and hiking other routes there! It's very nice there! And the organized transfer takes a long time because everyone has to be dropped off one by one in front of the hotel. Organization and implementation were perfect!

I would have checked 5 stars if the communication with the platform was not bad. It was very clear with the local organization until that GYG gave us 2 new different new hours for pick-up meeting... For the rest of the experience, nothing to add. The guide was very good, the walk also and the view at the top so unbelievable. We had chance because it was closed when we arrived but after 1h30, they opened the path to the peak and then, all was perfect.

The tour is highly recommended. We met the guide directly at the cable car and then went up together in the group. Then we came to the control to get into the cordoned off area. Our guide was absolutely great, she told us a lot of historical background and responded to the entire group. If anyone needed more time they waited and took care of everyone.
