East Bali: Snorkeling, Canyoning, and Waterfall Day Trip

1. East Bali: Snorkeling, Canyoning, and Waterfall Day Trip

Head out to Bali’s east coast for idyllic scenery and gorgeous beaches, with fewer crowds than other parts of the island. After pick-up, you’ll continue to Tanjung Jepun and Blue Lagoon for snorkeling sessions with an expert instructor. Glide above the vibrant coral reefs and keep an eye out for reef sharks, sea turtles, lion fish, and squid. The next stop is Tegenungan Waterfall, a short distance from Ubud. Get up close to the waterfall, swim in the water below it, and cool off from the tropical sunshine before continuing on to the hidden canyon in Sukawati. Finally, you’ll reach the Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon. The stone walls here were formed by river erosion over thousands of years, leaving beautiful patterns. Trek along the river before taking the chance to jump into the water. Rest up after your full-day adventure as you’re transported back to your accommodation.

The paddy fields of Jatiluwih spread out across 300 hectares, and they are located at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level at the foot of the southern slope of Mount Batukaru. What people are saying about Tegenungan Waterfall

May I start with the fact it was amazing, we saw a turtle and coffee plantation was wonderful, and so was our guide. But honestly I’m worried about what effect we have over the ocean there, me and my boyfriend gathered a bag of trash during our snorkle. And there is a lot more to go. I hope more people will do that, as it doesn’t cost much and it does a great deal for the fish who were trying to eat it, thinking it’s food. Why not admire the nature instead of destroying it? After all, we all live in it too.

10/10 trip, 10/10 tour guide, Edi. Everyone we worked with was so accommodating and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. At one point, Edi threw in an extra stop on the tour just for an added Balinese experience. His stories and friendliness were unmatched and the tours themselves… stunning. The hidden canyon is one of the best experiences of our lives, although you should be mobile individuals (climbing, swimming, jumping). Highly highly recommend this day tour, can’t say enough.

Such a great day! All 3 stops were beautiful and well organised! My driver Gede was incredible! He spent the whole day explaining all about the culture and sights of Bali and was so caring and accomodating to make sure I had an excellent day! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an action packed adventure in Bali!

I had an amazing day with Edi! He drove me around to the most famous spots on the island. I got to go snorkeling, check out a beautiful waterfall, trekked through canyons and ate lunch in the rice fields! Can’t thank Edi enough for making it such a wonderful experience!

Our driver Putu Dibya was great! He was very friendly and looked after us the whole day! He took us to some lovely places for food and he is an awesome driver! Thank you!
