    Head to the north-eastern part of Georgia, near the Caucasus mountain range and take the opportunity to drive towards Khevi Region, the small highlander village of Juta. Begin your tour by driving from Tbilisi through the famous Georgian Military Road and the Jvari Pass, afterwards continuing towards the village of Juta - a starting point of hiking, from where path leads towards gorgeous Chaukhi mountains. While there, visit the 16th century Ananuri Church and Fortress, the Georgian-Russian friendship monument, and breathtaking views over beautiful Caucasus snowy mountains. On this trip, escape from Tbilisi and experience something different, full of wild nature and remote places with spectacular landscapes and unforgettable impressions.

    It was a great escape from the buzzing touristy areas! Loved the place and the adventure! Our tour guide was great and took us off roading to Trinity Church as well!Just a pointer for those who’d be heading on this hike, it’s certainly not an easy level for those who do not have any background for hiking!

    My wife and me had a fabulous time with our guide, Orto. He was on time and explained to us the rich history of Georgia along the way. There were so many beautiful view of the Caucasus mountain ranges on the long drive to the starting point. We really enjoyed the day hike and the view was spectacular! It is highly recommend to have your lunch at the lake as you soak up the fresh mountain air and gorgeous view. Towards the enjoy, we had a feast with traditional Georgian food. This was definitely one of the top highlights of our trip!

    Excellent trip and well worth the long car ride from Tblisi. Guide was very helpful and adapted the trip to suit the guests. There were 4 of us - my wife and I plus our two sons. Small hut at the top and enjoyed a cold beer before heading back down. Great dinner on the way back to Tblisi. Best day/trip we had on our first trip to Georgia and we will be back for more and will spend more time in the mountains next time.
