We took this day trip to Kazbegi/Gergeti with our guide Giorgi and it was amazing. Kazbegi is a true gem and a definite must-see if you're ever in Georgia. The road there was an experience in itself as we passed by some of the most beautiful mountain sceneries I've ever seen, making stops along the way to take pictures and listen to stories behind some of the top landmarks. The whole trip was very well planned and thought through. Giorgi went out of his way to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Clean, spacious car, thoughtful details like snacks, drinks and sanitizers and a great selection of road trip music, all were very much appreciated. Lunch on the way back deserves a separate review. Totally recommended, 10 out of 10.
It was a really good tour from Tbilisi. Once you cross Georgian-Armenian border, you will feel that you are in a completely different world with beautiful medieval churches, mountains and old Russian style cars. My guide was Irakli and he did a wonderful job by telling us all the stories of Armenia and making additional photo stops on the way. Highly recommended!
Irakli was an awesome guide! He showed us the most interesting sights, and his knowledge of Georgian and Armenian church architecture was very impressive. The lunch was very filling, and we were encouraged to eat as much as we wanted. We were dropped off close to our hotels, which very appreciated. A wonderful experience, fully worth the money!
The Guide was wonderful, he took us to his own favorite places, it was so adventurous and unexpected! The city is not for the weak, it's a hard road and said society's way of life but worth it to see with your own eyes. if you are in Tiblisi this tour is a MUST GO.
We had Irakli as our driver and guide. It was a lot of driving but the car was comfortable and he was a very safe and cautious driver. We enjoyed our day in Armenia, it was very educational and Irakli was a pleasure as a guide. Knowledgeable, friendly and patient.
