Besides the location and the food; I enjoyed the people immensely. Alex, of Friendly Georgia Tours, the Winery owner, Giorgi, and the lovely ladies that showed me how to make the Georgian dishes made me feel like family. The food was plentiful, the wine tasting a wonderful learning experience (The wines were fabulous), as well as the entertaining company. It was a perfect day and an outstanding experience. I would highly recommend if you want to immerse yourself in the Georgian culture for the day to take this tour.
Amazing experience. Super authentic. We not only cooked with a true Georgian family in their home but got to learn about the culture of the food and city.
