We took this day trip to Kazbegi/Gergeti with our guide Giorgi and it was amazing. Kazbegi is a true gem and a definite must-see if you're ever in Georgia. The road there was an experience in itself as we passed by some of the most beautiful mountain sceneries I've ever seen, making stops along the way to take pictures and listen to stories behind some of the top landmarks. The whole trip was very well planned and thought through. Giorgi went out of his way to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Clean, spacious car, thoughtful details like snacks, drinks and sanitizers and a great selection of road trip music, all were very much appreciated. Lunch on the way back deserves a separate review. Totally recommended, 10 out of 10.
The Vardzia caves were interesting to see and very professional guide George gave very good insight of those times when they were created! On the tour we stopped at the restaurant with beautiful mountain scenery and really good Georgian food. We were able to stop in Borjomi to taste the mineral water (the very worm one:)) So I would tell that the tour 5-star, guide 5-start and driver 5-start !
The tour to Kakheti region was great! George is very knowledgeable, in an easy and understandable way he provided us with very interesting information about Georgia. The tour is well organised, you can book a hotel pick up. The team in the office is super friendly and they get ok with everyone. I will recommend them to everyone who is coming to Tbilisi :)
Kazbegi is worth going to! The mountains, Stepatsminda, the church on the top of mountains.... pure beauty even when it was snowing in the tour! I did not use the possibility to stay there in Kazbegi, and go back with other group, I will use this possibility next time as plan to returne!
Fantastic trip to Kezbegi mountain with Tata (I hope I’m writing the name correctly). All stops are fantastic and there’s always a story or a legend to go with it. Tata makes everything more fun and interesting. Don’t miss it!
