Your tour guide will show you the most beautiful and interesting places and monuments in the city and tell you about the hidden stories behind them. You will learn old secrets, tales of alchemists, vampires, witches and kings. Meeting point We will meet you at the entrance to the Rynek Underground Museum, Rynek Główny 1, 31-042 Kraków. Sightseeing part I (~ 1h) A professional local guide will take you for the first part of the walk to the Florian Gate, the oldest gate in the city. The walk leads along romantic, mysterious and mystical streets, squares and alleys next to the catacombs, the bell for the dying and the only place where convicts could stop and light a candle. This is a particularly mystical part of the tour, during which you will have the opportunity to photograph non-obvious but beautiful places in Krakow that are known only to city residents. Then you will see the beautiful building of Slowacki Theater - a copy of the Garnier Opera in Paris, and the former medieval hospital of St. Roch which offered treatment to the poor. You will go through the Small Market Square where people were burned live in the Middle Ages for offences against God and counterfeiting coins, and finally you will reach the Main Market Square. Break for rest and a cup of delicious coffee (0.5h) You will rest while sipping a cup of coffee in a former medieval inn located near a prison and a torture chamber. Sightseeing part II (~ 1h) You will discover the Main Square and all the most important monuments located there. You will also learn about the location of the bell for the dying, the lantern protecting Krakow from plague, the old cemeteries, the pillory and the martens. You will discover deeply hidden, sometimes dark, stories of Krakow and the mysterious places where the executioner announced the death of the condemned. Then you will go to the picturesque University Quarter with Collegium Maius, the oldest of the preserved university buildings, where the world famous Nicolaus Copernicus and John Paul II studied. Next, the walk will lead you along the Royal Route to the Wawel Castle. You will discover mysterious narrow streets and learn stories about alchemists, vampires, witches and kings that are known only to the Cracovians who live here. You will also have the opportunity to take unique photos. End of the tour You will end the tour on Kanonicza Street, the oldest street in the city, from where you will admire the wonderful view of the Wawel Castle. After the tour you may want to try one of the many atmospheric restaurants, recommended to you by your guide, to enjoy a delicious dinner and experience the magical atmosphere of the city. What could be better than to have a special cozy evening listening as the Christmas music is virtuously played by the famous Royal Chamber Orchestra, while you enjoy a glass of wine. The Royal Chamber Orchestra was founded by Sławomir Prokopik in 2007. It consists of Kraków’s most illustrious musicians, internationally renowned graduates of the Academy of Music. Their music showcases their impeccable taste, boundless imagination and remarkable technique. The concert takes place in an old historical tenement house called “Dębinskim” or “Under Barrel”. The house was built in the 15th Century as an one-storeyed building and it was restructured thoroughly in the middle of the 16th Century. After that the house became the property of a Royal Hunter named Kaspar Dębinski who worked for the Royal Family in the Wawel Castle. At present you can see the extraordinary 19th-century staircase with its original richly ornameted railing made of iron leading to the concert hall.

Although it started with pouring rain thunderstorms, it’s started to clear after 10 minutes and we met group of English girls it lifted the whole boat with laughter and we took a lot of photos and amazingly discover the fantastic view of the river in the evening.
