It was originally a former military dependents’ village that is brightly painted in every corner by Huang Yung Fu, also known as “Rainbow Grandpa." Next, sip on drinks and eat pastries in Miyahara, originally an ophthalmology clinic during Japanese colonization. After the transformation by a local pastry company, today Miyahara is widely known for its Hogwarts lookalike interior decoration and variety of sweets. Later, stop for a group photo at National Taichung Theater, an opera house designed by the famous Japanese architecture “Toyo Ito". The opera house is referred as one of the most difficult architectures to build in the world, because of its curved surfaces. Here you can enjoy a close-up view of this architectural masterpiece, appreciating every detail created with innovative construction methodologies by the master. End the tour at the Gaomei Wetland, where you enjoy the view of windmills spinning on the wide open beach, creating an endless view in the far horizon. Finally, head back Taipei, where you can choose to disembark at Ximending Commercial District or MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station.

On the first day, the guide will meet you at your hotel or designated meeting place in downtown Taipei. Before lunch, enjoy a relaxing lake cruise in a motorboat on Sun Moon Lake, the largest freshwater lake on the island.  After lunch, head to Taichung. The first stop after your arrival is Miyahara. Even if you are not here for an opera or a musical, the building itself will provide you with an extraordinary experience as you walk through it.  By night, Fengjia Night Market is one of the most famous sights in Taichung, with a variety of local delicacies on offer. The clothing, trinkets, and accessories in the market are also unique and affordable.  On the second day of the tour, enjoy a full breakfast before meeting the tour guide for your next adventure. Chung-she Flower Garden is a flower farm located in Houli District of Taichung. With a wide array of colorful flowers, it is the perfect place to capture precious moments with family and friends.  Then, get ready for the day to take a crazy turn at Leofoo Village Theme Park, one Taiwan's most popular amusement parks. Visit 4 areas: the Wild West, South Pacific, Arabian Palace and African Tribe. The Water Park is also open during the summer time. After the long, fun, and tiring day, head back to Taipei Main Station for your drop off location.
