The Lisbon Bike Tour covers an approachable route, without any climb. The terrain is always descending and flat. You'll start at the top of Parque Eduardo VII and descend through downtown Lisbon all the way to Belém. The tour will last about 4 hours. Usually, your guide makes a short stop downtown. Here, you are offered a Portugese specialty and a typical drink. You will also make another stop in an old café halfway through the ride. This time you have the option of a Portugese pastry. This stop is also a chance for guests to use the restroom or have another drink. Drinks at this café are not included. Taking 4 hours to ride about 10 kilometers means that you can enjoy a slow pace with panoramic views. Your guide will stop at the interesting points in town and tell you about what’s around. This is the best way to get to know Lisbon. The tour concludes in Belém, another historical district in Lisbon. In Belém, you will be on your own and can get return to downtown easily by public transportation – bus, tram and train – or by cab.
