Enjoy a guided boat trip in the historical heart of Lisbon, along the River Tagus. Discover Portugal's 18th century history as your guide and sailor shares informative commentary as your cruise down the beautiful river.  The 45 minute cruise begins from the Terreiro do Paço River Station. You will see from the river the wonderful landscape of the historical city center, passing by Commerce Square, Sao Jorge Castle, Alfama, National Pantheon and Santa Apolonia Station. On the return, sail through the middle of the river to observe the enchanting hills of Lisbon and from a distance, the grandeur of the 25 de Abril Bridge and Christ the King. The tour is in a traditional and unique 1947 sailing cargo boat with capacity for 50 people. The boat is decorated in warm tones and numerous hand-painted flowers, that give a touch of charm and authenticity. In the late 1960s with the introduction of road bridges, these vessels entered into disuse and of the thousands of boats that existed only about 75 survived, duly registered in the Marinha do Tejo, living part of Portuguese Navy Museum. The Lisbon Bike Tour covers an approachable route, without any climb. The terrain is always descending and flat. You'll start at the top of Parque Eduardo VII and descend through downtown Lisbon all the way to Belém. The tour will last about 4 hours. Usually, your guide makes a short stop downtown. Here, you are offered a Portugese specialty and a typical drink. You will also make another stop in an old café halfway through the ride. This time you have the option of a Portugese pastry. This stop is also a chance for guests to use the restroom or have another drink. Drinks at this café are not included. Taking 4 hours to ride about 10 kilometers means that you can enjoy a slow pace with panoramic views. Your guide will stop at the interesting points in town and tell you about what’s around. This is the best way to get to know Lisbon. The tour concludes in Belém, another historical district in Lisbon. In Belém, you will be on your own and can get return to downtown easily by public transportation – bus, tram and train – or by cab. Your guide will suggest a couple of nice restaurants for lunch, as well as fine monuments to visit in the area in the afternoon.

Really excellent. The guys knew everything there is to know about Lisbon, and were very kind. The boat was perfect and the ride was smooth. Our wine glasses could not stay empty and they also gave us some snacks. Overall awesome!!

The experience was great, the Skimmer Carlos and his son Rodrigo were very friendly and gave us great recommendations about Lisbon and around. The wine and especially the sailing trip were excellent :-)
