Your session will start with a safety briefing and some land-based training on the riverbank or our pontoon near Richmond Bridge. This typically takes 15-20 minutes depending on group size. We will introduce you to the kayaking equipment, teach you about safety and navigation on the river, as well as paddle techniques, including how to steer, stop and self-rescue. We will then head out onto the river, either upstream towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington or downstream towards Richmond Lock, Isleworth, Kew Gardens and Chiswick, depending on the tide. The distance actually covered will depend on wind and tide conditions on the day.

Your session will start with a safety briefing and some land-based training on the riverbank near Richmond Bridge. This typically takes 15-20 minutes depending on group size. We will then head out onto the river, either upstream towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington or downstream towards Richmond Lock, Isleworth, Kew Gardens and Chiswick, depending on the tide. The distance actually covered will depend on wind and tide conditions on the day. You do not need to be a proficient swimmer, but should be comfortable with falling into water while wearing a buoyancy aid. A certain level of flexibility and ability to get up to standing from kneeling is required for learning to paddleboard.

10. Hampton Court to Richmond Paddleboarding Expedition

On this one way adventure, you will be paddling on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames, initially upstream to get the best view of Hampton Court Palace, and after that downstream towards Thames Ditton, Surbiton, Kingston, Teddington and then on to Richmond. The trip usually takes 3.5 to 4.5 hours from start to finish, depending on conditions on the day. We will meet you at Ditton Beach (equidistant from Hampton Court or Thames Ditton railway stations). After a safety briefing we will start on our one-way trip to Richmond. This is a fantastic point-to-point trip, exploring hidden islands, and passing through town and countryside, and will include a stop for a coffee and/or a bite to eat.

Thorpe park very good been before,but not long to queue for really.fast track wasn't that good,I thought was expensive because still have to wait a while.other than that wasn't too bad plus food was expensive

I was a bit cautious when booking that i hadn’t booked directly from the thorpe park website. when i arrived at the turnstiles i just scanned my ticket and it worked perfectly, will use again in the future !

Thorpe Park is fantastic for older kids and adults, in summer though the ques are really long like 1hr each

Very good, you buy your ticket through the app and when you arrive you scan, easy and fast

Best to go Mon to Fri as weekends very busy and long waiting in queues.
