Full description
Start the activity by sustainably cutting orchard and banana trees. Then, feed the elephants and learn about their healthy food, herbs, and medicinal plants. Ingredients for creating the combination come from the orchard or the nearby community forest which helps contributing income for the local community.
Take a break and enjoy a buffet lunch containing orchard ingredients on a wooden open-air pavilion surrounded by banana and lime trees. After lunch, collect elephant dung to make compost. This way, the nutrients return back to the soil and help fertilize the orchard trees.
Then, watch elephants playing with mud and taking a bath while you relax in the shade. Have the possibility to scrub some itchy places that the elephants cannot easily reach themselves. Learn about the behavior of these beautiful animals from your knowledgeable guide.
