Through archival footage, photographs, timelines, and a specialist media guide, experience the world where John Lennon played as a child and what happened behind the famous red gates. Immerse yourself in the life and times of Lennon through interactive exhibitions, and then enjoy a walk through the garden and woods, which some visitors claim to be a spiritually lifting experience. Loved the experience. I took my Dad in his wheelchair. We had a lovely afternoon frim start to finish…… staff where so helpful and friendly and we learnt so much about Strawberry Fields. We followed up with a lovely peaceful walk around the garden with some gorgeous brownies and coffee in the lovely cafe. Parking was also easy. Thanks for a lovely memory to treasure with my Dad.

Really enjoyed the visit. Exhibition well worth visiting , made full use of the headphone tour, which provides background and stories from those that were there. Walk including viewing the original gates, also very good esp. bible verses and song lyrics on the stones as you walk around. Salvation Army link very pleasing to see including training opportunities provided. And have to mention the gift shop which has unique and relevant items - my wife bought 3 t-shirts!

This visitor centre balances the part Strawberry Field played in the formative years of a Beatle with the social history of the building. Don't go just expecting Beatles history , it is so much more than that. I enjoyed the audio guide which I'm not normally a fan of as it was interactive with the surroundings. What a treat to see the Imagine piano especially as a Beatles fan and also a George Michael fan. Lovely cafe and shopping
