Looked at several tour options but eventually plumped for this one - we’d never been to Liverpool before. We then had a fantastic two hours with Neil riding in his very comfortable and well driven Mercedes people carrier. During the tour we stopped at several important and historic places when Neil was able to let us out on the safest side (van had remotely controlled sliding doors) so that he could further explain things. These ‘things’ included a lot about the Beatles as well as Liverpool itself. We really really enjoyed ourselves.

I booked this experience for my dad for his 60th birthday, along with my mom and two of their friends. The driver Neil collected them from their hotel and drove them round to all the sites abs landmarks in Liverpool and to all the Beatles houses, strawberry fields and penny lane. My dad was absolutely overwhelmed by the experience and said Neil couldn’t do enough for them as well as being driven round in a luxury Mercedes private car.

Sorry it was not in a Mercedes, it was a blue cab, however this did not stop us having a great time, there was a ramp for my mobility scooter and there was enough room for the scooter abd the 2 of us. Our driver Dave was excellent he took us on all parts of the Beatles history and was very informative, he made us feel at ease he was absolutely superb, plenty of patience and his knowledge was outstanding.

Our guide was Neil who was extremely knowledgable and friendly throughout the whole tour.
