Explore the Old Town's central street Stradun, the Franciscan Monastery, the renaissance Rector's Palace, the town walls, the Lovrjenac Fortress, and many picturesque squares and churches. After the walking tour with the local professional guide, you will have enough time to explore Dubrovnik independently. Make the most of your free time and stop by one of the local restaurants to taste some delicious traditional food. It's not a bad idea to ride on the cable car to the top of the Srd Mountain and enjoy the breathtaking view of Dubrovnik and its surroundings. You can also go to the local beach, take a quick swim, buy tickets for the Walls, and look at the city from a completely different angle. This perfectly well-spent day in Dubrovnik, you will get back on the bus and start your journey back to the northwest alongside the Adriatic coast. Just the right break before arriving back in Split.

Your sightseeing starts as soon as you depart from Dubrovnik when your tour takes a short break on the Dubrovnik Bridge for a scenic view of the town. Ston is famous for its old salt flats and for having the second longest city walls in the world (after the Chinese walls). After sightseeing free time, the tour continues towards Orebić. The first stop on the way to Pelješac is at the medieval town of Ston, where you’ll admire the largest wall in Europe stretching 5.5 kilometers between the towns of Ston and Mali Ston. You also visit the salt works where salt has been produced using the same methods for hundreds of years. Walk through the narrow streets of Ston, which was the second most important town in the Dubrovnik Republic. The winding roads of the Pelješac peninsula lead you to the second wine producer. After tasting a selection of wine and traditional snacks, you visit the vineyards situated on the steep slopes of the hills facing the sea. Here you have the opportunity to take photos of this unique wine region and fall in love with the country. Your next stop is at a vineyard where the host prepares wine tasting between the grape vines and explains everything there is to know about Pelješac wines. Finish off this wonderful day with a typical peasant brunch called “marenda” in the rustic ambient of a Dalmatian pub known as “konoba”. Depending on the season and weather conditions, the food will be prepared in front of you in the open fireplace, allowing you to join the short cooking class. Fantastic afternoon out exploring wineries and tasting some great wine at Marlais. The highlight of the trip was sampling oysters right out of Ston Bay.
