Based on the previous agreement with the driver, you can stop to stretch your legs and take some fantastic photos. After arriving in Dubrovnik, one of the most outstanding tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, you will meet your local guide and start an hour-and-a-half-long walking tour through the narrow streets of the historic core of Dubrovnik. Explore this fantastic UNESCO World Heritage site and learn everything about its history and monuments. Take in Renaissance and Baroque architecture, red brick roofs, and long walls that have resisted enemy attacks through the centuries. Explore the Old Town's central street Stradun, the Franciscan Monastery, the renaissance Rector's Palace, the town walls, the Lovrjenac Fortress, and many picturesque squares and churches. After the walking tour with the local professional guide, you will have enough time to explore Dubrovnik independently. Make the most of your free time and stop by one of the local restaurants to taste some delicious traditional food. It's not a bad idea to ride on the cable car to the top of the Srd Mountain and enjoy the breathtaking view of Dubrovnik and its surroundings. You can also go to the local beach, take a quick swim, buy tickets for the Walls, and look at the city from a completely different angle. Since you have approximately four hours of free time, plan your activities before the trip since it is impossible to do all listed above. This perfectly well-spent day in Dubrovnik, you will get back on the bus and start your journey back to the northwest alongside the Adriatic coast. We’ll pass the villages of Orašac, Trsteno, Salona, and Elaphiti islands to our side to arrive in Ston where you will have the opportunity to taste our famous freshest oysters. Just the right break before arriving back in Split.

Your sightseeing starts as soon as you depart from Dubrovnik when your tour takes a short break on the Dubrovnik Bridge for a scenic view of the town. You will then continue along the Adriatic Coast, learning about various points of interest along the route. When you reach Ston you will enjoy sightseeing and free time. Ston is famous for its old salt flats and for having the second longest city walls in the world (after the Chinese walls). After sightseeing free time, the tour continues towards Orebić. Along the way, you will take in the panoramic scenery of the famous vineyards of Peljesac peninsula. Discover beautiful countryside and old settlements while listening to commentary on the wineries of Peljesac and on the area's mussel-breeding. In Orebić the tour boards the boat to Korčula. The island of Korčula presents a unique contact with the beautiful nature, and a thousand-year-old cultural tradition and history. You will have an opportunity to visit the birth house of Marco Polo, the church of St. Marco and many other monuments. Return to Orebić by boat and proceed to Potomje. Upon arrival in Potomje you will visit one of the most famous Croatian wineries. Your tasting will include famous wines as well as domestic brandy and liquors in the company of an expert from the winery. The tour returns to Dubrovnik in the afternoon.

You also visit the salt works where salt has been produced using the same methods for hundreds of years. Walk through the narrow streets of Ston, which was the second most important town in the Dubrovnik Republic. The winding roads of the Pelješac peninsula lead you to the second wine producer. After tasting a selection of wine and traditional snacks, you visit the vineyards situated on the steep slopes of the hills facing the sea. Here you have the opportunity to take photos of this unique wine region and fall in love with the country. Your next stop is at a vineyard where the host prepares wine tasting between the grape vines and explains everything there is to know about Pelješac wines. Finish off this wonderful day with a typical peasant brunch called “marenda” in the rustic ambient of a Dalmatian pub known as “konoba”. Depending on the season and weather conditions, the food will be prepared in front of you in the open fireplace, allowing you to join the short cooking class. You'll also have the chance to visit a family-owned oyster and mussel farm where you'll taste oysters direct from the sea, paired with local wine.

Other explorers before him had changed the geography of the world – Marco Polo changed its history. Interestingly, many sources suggest that Korčula is a town where he was born around 1254! The island of Korčula undoubtedly holds a privileged position among the Croatian islands. It is full of legends, tales and monuments - more than any other island in the Adriatic sea. Once we arrived on the island, we will start our day trip by discovering the picturesque old town of Korčula, the main town of the island. It is a unique experience to walk along the narrow streets and among the beautiful churches and magnificent palaces of what is considered to be one of the best-preserved Medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Being famous stonemasons, shipbuilders and seafarers, the people of Korčula left their marks all over the world, but saved their best works for their hometown. After a sightseeing tour of the old town of Korčula, you will have some free time for lunch. After lunch, you shouldn't miss out swimming in the crystal clear water of the island's beautiful beaches. On our way back to Dubrovnik, we will make a stop in one of the well-known wine cellars on the Pelješac peninsula and sample some of the excellent local wine.
