The experienced crew pick you up from central Stockholm in our stable RIB boats "Rigid Inflatable Boats". As the boat leave Stockholm behind you'll see the Old Town, Södermalm and Nacka from the water. Passing the island of Fjäderholmarna we pick up speed on our way to experience the main waterways into Stockholm that been protected by Fortresses since the 16th Century. You will travel through magnificent landscapes made up of lush and rocky islands. Passing islands both inhabited and uninhabited. You will experience historic sites and summer houses. Before heading back to Stockholm we pass by Vaxholm, also called the Capital of the Archipelago, where many sailors come to proviant before heading out to sea. On the way back we go through the Djurgårdsbrunns canal and under the famous bridges. This is a truly genuine tour where one experiences the true archipelago where locals live and vacation. Now it’s nature reserve with green meadows, old oak trees and farms with horses. Paddling silently by narrow fjord is great chance to spot beavers. Don’t forget to look around. An osprey or a white-tailed sea eagle may just fly above your head. You can also spot other coastal birds including oystercatchers, grey heron, lapwing, cormorant, seagulls. Sheltered water, without traffic of ferries and bigger vessels are beginners friendly and will be perfect choice for family canoe trip. There are nice places to make a break for BBQ, swimming spots, fishing and even hiking trails. It’s worth taking a break to stretch your legs, hike and perhaps pick up some berries in the woods. You choose the date of trip, we provide all you need to create your own unforgettable adventure. When you arrive, you will be provided with fully equipped canoe and camping equipment.
