    In the morning depart from Tbilisi and discover the treasures of northern Georgia. First, you will stop at Zhinvali Water Reservoir, where you will find the beautiful Ananuri castle complex.     After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the reception of your hotel and take you to your first stop of the day, the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia - Mtskheta. In Mtskheta you will see two UNESCO World Heritage Sites; the 7th-century Jvari Monastery and the 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. After exploring Mtskheta you will continue on with your tour.  You will drive north towards the Northern Caucasus along the well-known Georgian Military Road stopping along the way to explore the 17th-century architectural complex Ananuri before reaching Kazbegi which is the main town in the region.
