Full description
Learn more about the five ecosystems that make up this unique park. Discover the St Lucia Wetland Park’s and its internationally renowned beauty. Join a full day off-road exploration into this pristine Eastern Shores environment. This trip includes an ecological overview of the park, wonderful game-viewing, bird-watching, short walks, a light breakfast at Mission Rocks, visit to Cape Vidal beach with snorkeling if the tide permits (gear will be provided) and a full braai (barbecue) lunch with drinks, on an open game drive vehicle. Cape Vidal Resort is set in a bay that is sheltered by a rock reef. On either side lie kilometers of unspoiled beaches and inland lie fascinating wetlands and rich coastal dune forests. Humpback whales migrating north to Mozambique pass close to the shore at certain times of the year, while game fish such as marlin and sailfish attract anglers. Visitors often see dolphin pods, especially in the early morning

Our guide Skigh knows what he is doing and has interesting information about animals, birds and what it is like to have grown up in this country with many problems, there is a small breakfast, then lunch is grilled in the park! This is not a classic game drive tour, you should go to other parks. The nature in this park is incomparable and definitely worth a trip!
