During the evening trip, you will stop for 2 hours in the Blue Lagoon and 30 mins in the Crystal Lagoon. After arriving at the Blue Lagoon, you will moor in the prime area. You can then use the boat as a base, utilising all the fantastic facilities, including a huge water slide and sundeck with cushioned sun loungers. We will visit the Saltpans of Xwejni, where sea salt is still harvested from the sea in the old ways and methods. We will visit the ‘Sanctuary & Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu’. Strong Catholic believes are connected to the Shrine. Locals believe in the granting of miracles, and you can find plenty of votive offerings hanged on the walls of the Basilica. The Basilica is also a spender of architecture and art. We will visit the Bay and rock formations of Dwejra. Here we also find the ‘Fungus Rock’. During the medieval ages it was believed that a particular plant with medical properties used to grow on this rock formation. It is also believed that this rock was highly guarded and who ever attempted to steal the plant was sentenced to death. Cold water will be available on the Trip. 12:30 It is time to relax!!
