Full description
The tour begins with meeting up at the cozy wilderness base and getting to know your experienced guide. They will explain how the day works, go over some safety protocol, and get you suited up and ready for the trip. Once everyone is dressed warmly and the gear is ready, you will load into one of the vehicles and take the short drive to the river. When you arrive at the river, take in your beautiful surroundings and see how many eagles you can spot in the trees as the staff prep the raft for your adventure. Set off along the river to see the sights and spot as much wildlife as you can. Fall months bring thousands of spawning wild salmon to these rivers and winter welcomes the largest gatherings of bald eagles in the world; with spring comes the awakening of local wildlife and the impressive display of snow-melt waterfalls cascading down from the mountains. Witness these natural phenomena, sip on a hot beverage, and float down the river for an unforgettable tour that will connect you with the cycle of life. Your knowledgeable guides will share their wealth of information about the local flora and fauna with you as you float. Your photographer will follow you along the river and snap some candid photos of you as you enjoy your adventure, as well as some shots of the nature you pass through. At the takeout, soak up one last look around the beautiful riverside before loading back into the vehicle and heading back to the base. Finish your day sharing photos with friends by the fire at our cozy base. Be ready to enjoy a delicious warm meal and a little treat at the end. Your photos will be available for download after your tour.
