Gorgeous island, excellent Olive oil, wonderfully warm people.

The bikes were great quality and in great condition (clean, well-tuned, responsive gearing). The rides were beautiful, such fun to explore the little villages on Solta. Franje and his son, Marko, are such wonderful hosts, by the end of the day I felt like we'd been visiting family. The olive oil tasting was great (we bought lots to take home), the local honey producers were friendly and the rosemary honey, delicious. If you like to cycle, this is the way to see Solta. Be sure to bring bike shorts (I forgot) and know that you need to be able to do hills. It was my first long ride of the season, so the last part was hard on the seat (totally my fault), but we had such a great time. We would definitely do this again and explore the rest of the island! The self-guided tour is excellent value for money. Hvala Franje and Marko! We miss you already, especially at breakfast!
