From Split: Krka National Park Day Trip with Boat Ride

1. From Split: Krka National Park Day Trip with Boat Ride

Make the most of your time in Croatia with a day trip to Krka National Park, one of the country’s most beautiful natural hotspots. See everything from waterfalls to medieval towns along the way.  Meet your guide and driver in Split before heading out to Skradin. Catch a relaxing boat ride to Krka National Park from here, with guaranteed unforgettable vistas on the way.   Once on the other side, benefit either from a roughly 1-hour complimentary guided tour of Krka, or the freedom to explore on your own. Either way, enjoy extra time after the optional guided tour to explore.  Whether it’s of flowing waterfalls at Skrandinski Buk, or historical flour mills, or wood trails, snap some photo opportunities of the unbelievable scenic views in front of you.  If you are traveling during the high season (June-September), board a bus to the postcard-worthy town of Primošten. Enjoy a couple of hours in this medieval island town to swim, chill, eat, sample wine tasters, or take a scenic stroll.  Some of Croatia’s best-voted beaches are native to Primošten, and its vineyards are even on the UNESCO World Heritage sites’ waiting list. During the low season, when the weather is too cold for swimming, visit the picturesque city of Šibenik, famous for its impressive historical fortresses and known as a gateway to the National Park Kornati. Finish off the day with a transfer back to Split in time for the early evening.

The trip was fantastic! From start to finish it was so well organised. Krka National park is not too far from Split so you don’t waste loads of time travelling. Our tour guide was Rudi and he was full of information and so friendly! We took a boat road to the main part of the park. Rudi showed us the route and made sure the group were familiar with the map. We then had a few hours of free time to explore the sights (which were stunning). There were plenty of places to grab a drink and bite to eat. After boarding the bus we were taken to another city around 30 mins away. Again, we were given around 2 hours to explore the city. Perfect place to grab lunch and a drink on the seafront. The trip back to Split was approx an hour so not too long. Rudi was fantastic and super friendly, couldn’t recommend this trip enough!

The tour was good. The waterfalls are quite spectacular and pleasant to walk around. The day trip was nicely spaced so not a problem being in the bus or walking for too long. Daniela is an excellent tour guide with extensive knowledge of the country. The information she gave was interesting and not over complicated. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

I’d give 10 stars if I could! Fab day today thanks to Rudolph. He was so laid back and gave us so much history and information about Croatia. Krka was insanely stunning and we had lots of free time to explore. Well planned day and we got to explore a another Croatian city called Sibenik which was cool!

Great day out, would recommend this trip. Loved the waterfalls and the wine tasting. Our guide Lovro was very informative and helpful.

Fantastic daytrip! Our guide miss D was very enthusiastic and fun. The waterfalls are amazing
