Full description

Discover the wonders of Krka National Park on a tour from Split. See the Skradinski Buk and Roški waterfalls and swim in the clear water. Learn about the park from guides and try local spirits.

Depart Split and travel in air-conditioned comfort to Krka National Park. Take photos of the spectacular scenery in real time as you drive towards the impressive waterfalls of the park. Visit three of the nicest locations within Krka National Park starting at Skradinski Buk waterfalls, the largest travertine waterfall in Europe, with a stop for a view of the 2,000-year old town of Skradin located within the Krka National Park river canyon. Cross the lake by boat on arrival, and get around 4 hours of free time to relax, go for a swim, or learn more about the natural history of the park from the on-hand guides. Take in stunning views of the Island of Visovac, one of the most photographed islands in Croatia. Go on a stroll through this very relaxed part of the park, noting all the beautiful flora and the fauna of the park in the best way possible. Continue to the Roški waterfalls, Krka is a secret corner of the park which is still relatively undiscovered by commercial tourism. Visit the Ethno village and its 700-year-old watermill. Enjoy an optional traditional meal at a waterside restaurant. Savor the local meats, salads, and cheese platter paired with regional white or red wine. On the way back to Split, stop at a local konoba or homestead restaurant. Try out complimentary schnapps and liquors which are produced on the homestead. Please note that in the winter months (from November 1–March 31), the park closes early, the boat trip from Skradin is unavailable, and the restaurant is closed. As a result, you'll leave the park at approximately 2 PM and visit the seaside city of Trogir for about 1 hour. Explore this beautiful town and enjoy lunch there prior to returning to Split at approximately 4 PM.

The tour was great from beginning to end. Our guide was knowledgeable and easy going. The national park was beautiful and the boat ride was the cherry on top. We've been on many organised tours in the past that feel like you are being pushed to buy extras but this was certainly not the case on this trip. Lunch was also fantastic, the owner of the tavern was super welcoming and friendly.

We aren’t normally the group tour type. However visiting Split in more of the off season there were less independent travel options it Krka. This tour was great. We had threes young (6,5,3) children with us and they did a wonderful job accommodating them. Lunch was DELICIOUS and I highly recommend adding that option.

The tour was excellent. The guide was extremely knowledgeable. There were only four of us on the tour as it was the off season, but we were on a small minibus so even full it would have been a small group. We ended up ahead of schedule so we went to couple of extra spots which were lovely. The food and drink were great too.
