Full description
Explore the wonders of ancient Egypt on this guided day tour. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby and you'll head off to visit the Pyramids, Sphynxes, and Egyptian Museum. Head first towards the Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Admire the scenic views of the Pyramid of Cheops, Chephren and Mycinerus. Then, stop for a photo-op at the magnificent Great Sphynx. If you choose, you can visit the Great Pyramid at your own cost. Next, it’s time to taste some Egyptian food at a local restaurant. Once you’re finished, you’ll visit to the Egyptian Museum. This vast collection contains more than 250,000 artifacts in its exhibits which span over 5,000 years. If you choose, you can also then explore the room of King Tutankhamun at your own expense, stocked full of vivid jewelry and gold. These dazzling treasures were stored in the King’s tomb for 3,500 years before their discovery during the excavation in 1920.   Finally, you’ll be taken to visit the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar to enjoy the atmosphere of a local market in the old city. Stroll along this historic souk (market) and witness the variety of antiques, jewelry and souvenirs for sale, all made in the region. Finish your tour with a transfer back to your hotel once you’re finished marvelling at the sights of Egypt.

It's the quality of the Guide which decides that your tour will be amazing, satisfactory or not. Fortunately, I was guided by Mr. Ayman Fawzy, who is undoubtedly very amazing and humble person. He made me feel home starting from the call he gave me a night before our tour. Explained each thing in detail, clicked a lottt of beautiful pictures of mine and also did negotiations for me with the locals. What else you want.. I would say, I have found a friend in Cario. The lunch provided by GYG was very delicious and satisfactory. The restaurant was very beautiful and the restaurant staff was very generous and welcome. You must try Mango drink out there (I drank to full glasses). Overall, nice tour. Very satisfied.

Super well planned trip, our German-speaking guide was just great, the tour started in the morning at the pyramids and went on to the Sphinx, then we drove to the museum where it was quite pleasant in the midday hour. We continued to the bazaar with a delicious final meal. Our guide Achmet Amin really took care of everything. Only to recommend.

My wife & I booked a private tour through the "Get Your Guide" app. We were lucky enough to be assigned Ahmed Elsayed. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, well spoken and passionate about his job. If you book a tour, I recommend that you specifically request Ahmed Elsayed. Highlights of the Cairo tour included riding camels at the second viewing point at the pyramids where all three are in view. In addition, the museum was filled with extremely impressive artifacts. We actually ended up booking a second tour with Ahmed Elsayed two days later to Alexandria. On that tour we visited the Kim al-Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, Qaitbay Citadel, the Alexandria Library and had a lovely meal on the waterfront.
