What people are saying about Southern Region, Iceland

The face was cold going in, but every other body part was warm in the suit. The water is clear and easy to see everything, especially the deep parts. It’s definitely an opportunity you can’t pass up on: when will you snorkel in ice cold water again, especially in between two tectonic plates? Thank you to Anna (Anna Lena?) for providing a great experience. She was informative and funny. An approachable guide that joked around with me and my college friends.

This combo tour was a great way both to see major sites like Gullfoss and experience the snorkeling, which was the highlight. If you have ever experienced Yellowstone National Park USA geysers and hot springs, be prepared to be underwhelmed. However the hike to the hilltop overlooking the geyser field and The Valley behind it behind it was worth the stop itself.

Amazing tour! Everyone was nice, helped us to get dressed and stay dry :) while enjoyed the amazing underwater landscape! Good to know that they give you a warm suit to wear under the dry suit, so if the weather is fine is not required to have too many warm clothes. Cool pictures, shared really fast! We really enjoyed the day!

Our tour guide, Mike, was amazing! He was so patient and explained things very well. We kept a comfortable pace and the pictures he took came out fabulous!! I highly recommend this tour - the fissure is absolutely breathtaking and you really can’t appreciate the unique beauty without seeing it in person!

The experience was amazing. Silfra is a place you don’t get to see anywhere else. The water is clear for 100m and the colors in the water are amazing. I would recommend everyone to do this once in their life. You will be grateful that you did.
