Austin: 2-Hour Sightseeing Bike Tour

1. Austin: 2-Hour Sightseeing Bike Tour

Embark on a 2-hour bike tour of Austin and pedal down to some of the famous spots around downtown and the river front. A local guide will lead you along a route that also takes back streets and hiking trails beloved by locals. Along the way, see why they like to "Keep Austin Weird" in this cultural hub.  The tour begins by going along the famous Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail, Barton Springs Pool area, and Zilker Park. Then, take a stop at the South Congress Avenue Bridge and learn about the largest urban colonization of bats in North America. From there, head towards the new boardwalk for amazing views of the Austin skyline. See Austin's hottest entertainment district, Rainey Street, and learn how it came to be.  Finish your tour by heading up north to the Texas State Capitol, where you'll be able to go inside and admire the famous rotunda. Take time to snap some photos before cruising back towards the shop along the newly renovated Shoal Creek Trail. The tour ends at the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge.

Austin: Haunted History Ghost Tour

2. Austin: Haunted History Ghost Tour

On this ghost tour you will visit haunted locations such as The Omni Hotel, the William Sidney Porter House, and the Museum of the Weird, among countless oddball restaurants and vintage shops.  Austin has a unique way of encouraging eccentric behavior with its infamous element of the weird. The history of the capital of Texas offers shocking stories of forbidden lovers, heartbreaking suicides, brutal murders, and freak accidents.  Some of the ghosts you may encounter on this historic ghost tour are playful and harmless, but others are quite wicked and have committed some horrific crimes in their lifetimes. Stroll through hotspots in the "City of Bats" on this ghost tour and explore the dark side of the city's charming downtown streets. You’ll not only visit the most haunted places in town, but also discover the history that lives on in each building.  Keep your cameras ready because some pretty spooky footage has been captured on some of these expeditions. If you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the suicide brides roaming around the Driskill, or witness the legendary "Man with the Cigar" who thoughtfully paces around the Paramount Theatre.  Loads of tall tales will skim the surface of Austin’s history, but you will also hear true stories that have been thoroughly fact-checked and researched.

We (teenage daughter , husband and I) had such a great time on our 2 hour bike tour of the city. Our guide Tanner was great - friendly and knowledgeable about the city. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Austin. If you are on the fence- book this tour!

Our guide, Tanner, was awesome! It rained off and on, but we still had a blast exploring Austin. We took his advice and came back to the Congress Bridge at sunset to see the bats!

Excellent tour of Austin. River trails, parks, State Capital and neighbourhoods. Parker was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, great sense of Texas history.
