A WONDERFUL AND EDUCATIONAL EVENING. LEARNED CHEF TONY'S FAMILY SECRETS TO MAKING SUPERB JUICY MEAT BALLS, DELICIOUS PERFECT PASTA, INCREDIBLE BUT SIMPLE TOMATO SAUCE AND UNBELIEVABLE TIRAMISU. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS LIGHT AND FUN AND BY THE END OF THE NIGHT ALL OF OUR SMALL GROUP (FROM CANADA, FLORIDA, PITTSBURGH AND AUSTRALIA ) SHARED A SPECIAL KIND OF BOND THAT ONLY FOOD AND COOKING CAN CREATE. OUR TALENTED AND CONGENIAL CHEF, TONY AIELLO, GUIDED US THROUGH EVERY STEP AS WE PREPARED OUR TRADITIONAL ITALIAN DINNER. ALSO, CHEF TONY'S STAFF WAS SO VERY ENTHUSIASTIC AND HELPFUL TOO WHICH REALLY ADDED TO THE EVENING. ALONG THE WAY WE WERE TREATED TO PROSECCO, RED WINE, WHITE WINE, ASSORTED CHEESES AND SALUMI. BEST PART WAS WHEN WE GOT TO EAT OUR DELICIOUS MEAL - AND I GOT SECONDS! THANK YOU TONY AND THE GUYS FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL EVENING.
We have had the most wonderful morning! Thank you to all our new friends at Tirabuscio! Luigi picked us up from our hotel and drove us up into the beautiful hills above Sorrento where we were met with a very warm welcome and a beautiful setting. What a dream to cook on a lovely shady veranda surrounded by olive trees. We had great fun learning to make our own ravioli and discovering aubergine parmigiana! Our teachers were so kind and helpful and there was plenty of laughter along the way! We also sampled lots of different types of olive oil, created our own caprese salads and made a lovely tiramisu. We were treated to delicious wine and limoncello and felt thoroughly spoilt! We highly recommend this super holiday adventure. Thank you so much!
Right from word go tony and co made us feel very welcome , even if we never brought them whiskey . The lesson was easy to follow and fun. The food we made and ate at the end was wow o wow ! Authentic and super tasty. There was optional Wine through out the class , but we preferred just water which was not a problem. Tony has a wealth of knowledge on Italian food which he share with us through out the class, he also answered all questions we threw at him. If I ever return I will visit Tony and co again for sure!
the food was delicious. The instructor was very helpful. This was very much worth the cost and time. I will say that some of the ingredients were prepared before hand because of how long they take. For example, the tomato sauce takes over three hours, so that was ready when we got there. The instructor still went over the ingredients and process to make everything, even the stuff that was prepared before hand.
I bought this cooking experience for my wife and I and we were not disappointed at all. It was a fun evening and the chef made the experience even better. We learnt a lot about cooking the Italian way and the food we cooked and ate was excellent. I would highly recommend this cooking experience.
