After pickup from your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An, visit the Son Tra Mountain, also known as Monkey Mountain, to gain insight into Vietnam's rich history of Buddhism and Hinduism. Then, visit the Lady Buddha statue, the tallest Buddhist statue in Vietnam, reaching a height of 220 feet (67 meters). Next, visit local stone factories and sculpture shops, before visiting Marble Mountain. Visit the Âm Phủ cave, to take a walk through a re-creation of Buddhist hell. Next, you will go to Am Phu Cave where there is a replica of “Heaven and Hell”, Marble Mountains are also home to Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, which is a unique craft village. Situated at the foot of the Marble Mountains, this craft village has a proud history covering more than 200 years. We will head north to visit the Son Tra Peninsula. It is 693-meter high above sea level and 10-kilometer from the center of Da Nang City to the North-East. Pay a visit to Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda, considered one of the biggest pagodas in Da Nang City. The most striking feature of this vast pagoda is its huge Lady Buddha statue, which is one of the tallest in Vietnam and spectacularly dominates the skyline. You can contemplate the whole city, Son Tra peninsula as well as the Marble Mountains along with white sand-bank. The beautiful landscape creates a unique impression that you cannot find in other places.

8:00 We'll pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An or in Da Nang at the indicated time to head towards the famous Marble Mountains. Once at our destination, we will get out of the vehicle and begin to walk the trails that ascend these Vietnamese hills. Do you know why they receive this peculiar name? We'll find out during the tour! Along the way, we will enter different caves to discover their secrets. The holes in the rock give these caves a very special, almost mystical lighting. In addition, we will visit the Linh Ung pagoda, from where we will get spectacular views of the coast of Da Nang . - After visiting the Marble Mountains, we will go to the Monkey Mountain to see one of the most impressive pagodas in the area. At its top we will see the Linh Ung pagoda, built during the 18th century and which houses a 67-meter white statue of the Goddess of Mercy. It is the tallest Buddhist sculpture in Vietnam! Finally, we will take you back to your hotel and we will end the tour after four hours of travel.

From the hotel, depart to Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain). Here, discover the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view from the top. Visit the mysterious pagodas and the sculpturing village. Then, continue to Son Tra Peninsula, where we have a chance to admire the beauty of Linh Ung - Bai But pagoda - one of the biggest pagoda in Da Nang city in both of scale and architecture. This pagoda has a combination between modern style and traditional style. Especially, in Linh Ung - Bai But pagoda, there has Guan Yin statue that is considered as the highest statue in Vietnam (67 meters height approximately 30 stories). This statue put its back to the mountain, faces to the sea. Above the Guan Yin statue is Buddha hood statue with the high of 2 meters. From here, you can contemplate the whole city, mountain and Son Tra peninsula and see Ngu Hanh Son Mountain along with white sand-bank. The beautiful landscape creates a unique impression that you cannot find in other places. After lunch, continue to Hai Van Pass. On the national highway-01, Hai Van Pass is an impressive landscape. It is like a giant dragon, lying on Highway-01 on the border between Thua Thien – Hue Province and Da Nang City. This is the highest pass in Vietnam (500m above sea level). Next to Hai Van Pass is Lang Co Beach; with its gradually slopping, white sand beach, the average depth of less than 1m and the average temperature in the bathing season is 25°C, Lang Co is an ideal beach for tourists. Finally, explore Marble Mountain with its cluster of five limestone and marble mountains dotted with grottos, temples, and fabulous viewpoints on your last stop before your driver drops you off at your hotel.

Da Nang is not only famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, but also for its bridges and museums. We will visit the Ho Chi Minh Museum which features a replica of President Ho’s home in Ha Noi with a fishpond, a house on stilts, a garden and other relics. It's all very genuine and feels as though 'Uncle Ho' is still there. Next is the Museum of the Fifth Military Zone, which has a lot of large war equipment including aircraft and tanks that were captured in the French and American wars by the soldiers of the Fifth Military Division. Leaving these museums, we will continue to the Cham Museum which gives you an understanding about the Champa existence in the coastal areas of Vietnam. Housing the largest exhibition of Cham sculpture in the world, the museum displays almost 300 terracotta and stone works of art ranging from the 7th to the 15th centuries. Next, head to Thuan Phuoc Bridge at Tien Sa Port, another wonderful bridge in Da Nang City. Our last stops are Dragon Bridge, a very unique and modern bridge that crosses the Han River, the Love Lock Bridge and Ca Chep Hoa Rong Statue, which was designed to spray water towards the Dragon Bridge to present the culture, traditional lifestyle, and literature of Vietnam.

Drive along the coastline to the historic Marble Mountains, where we can explore the caves and temples built right into the mountain and observe spectacular views of the expanding city of Da Nang and the famous Da Nang Beach. Continue going to the coast of Monkey Mountain, where the road climbs to Son Tra Quan Yin Goddess at Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda unveiled from July 2010. Then, we will visit Ban Co Peak, where you can take a look at the whole Da Nang city and the bow shaped seashore forming Da Nang Bay. Then, go to Monkey Mountain Heliport Vestige. Built in 1965 by the US army, the Monkey Mountain Helicopter Port was a strategic site for supplying accessing and withdrawing to/from the mountain–bases. At the height of 580 meters above the sea level, Son Tra view Tower offers panoramic views of Da Nang, Son Tra Beach and the lush green surrounding forest. Nearby stands the Army Radar station dated back from 1960s, considered as “Indochina’s Miraculous Eyes”. After lunch, the tour continues along the North coast of Da Nang to the top of Hai Van Pass where bunkers remaining from the war can be explored.

The Marble Mountains (Vietnamese: Ngu Hanh Son; literally "five elements mountains") is a popular sightseeing location in Da Nang because of its alluring beauty. Built under the reign of King Minh Mang during the Nguyen Dynasty (the 19th century), legend has it a Buddhist statue drifted downstream to the area and got anchored at a sandy embankment. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Then discover the city of Hoi An on foot. While walking through the city, we will make a few stops to visit Hoi An Museum, many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence; Art Craft Manufacturing Workshop and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge. These spots are considered as typical architecture styles in Hoi An and reflect clearly the cross culture among France, Japan, China and Vietnam. Used to be a prosperous seaport city in the 16th century, passing over hundreds of years and withstanding the severity of the weather, Hoi An still exists and keeps the ancient and quiet beauty.
